Eid Mubarak!
Eid al-Adha, also known as the โFestival of Sacrifice,โ is one of the most significant holidays in the Islamic calendar.
It honors Prophet Ibrahimโs (Abrahamโs) unwavering faith and devotion to God through his willingness to sacrifice his son, Ishmael (Ismail). However, God intervened and provided a ram to be sacrificed instead. The holiday also marks the culmination of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
