𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | In Pursuant to Executive Order No. 24, S. of 2026, "An Order Reinstituting the Regular 5-Day Work Week in the Provincial Government of Biliran and All Its Eight Component Municipalities," issued by the Provincial Government of Biliran through Governor Rogelio J. Espina on May 28, 2026, all offices in the Local Government Unit of Almeria will resume to the regular 5-day workweek from 8:00 AM to 5:00PM, effective June 1, 2026.

2𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 | May 28, 2026

The Local School Board successfully convened its second-quarter meeting, presided over by Mayor Maria B. Sale. The session was attended by key municipal officials, including Sangguniang Bayan Member Hon. Sammy Sale, Municipal Budget Officer Lydia Bernal, Municipal Treasurer Daisy Caparro, MSWDO Hanna Grace Escayde, PCapt. Mar Manuel T. Doyola, WCPD Lora Prado, and SK Federation President Christian Rey Atibula. Educational leadership was represented by Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Herman Donato, alongside various primary and secondary school heads, the GPTA President, and representatives from the SGC and SSGC.

The assembly provided a collaborative platform for academic institutions to address critical operational matters, focusing on sharing recent developments across primary and secondary levels, identifying school-specific budgetary constraints and operational challenges and proposing targeted projects, programs, and development plans for the current fiscal year.

These deliberations are instrumental in ensuring that municipal resources are strategically allocated to address the evolving needs of both students and educators.

The Local Government Unit of Almeria reaffirms its dedication to advancing the local education sector through structured coordination, meticulous planning, and responsive, transparent governance.
