In line with Proclamation No. 1264, s. 2026; the NHCP Central Office and our Shrines, Museums, and Landmarks across the country are 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 on 27 May 2026, Wednesday, in commemoration of Eid'l Adha.

NHCP Museo ni Marcelo H. del Pilar

The Museo ni Marcelo H. del Pilar, located in Bulacan, Bulacan, serves as a significant national shrine dedicated to the "Great Propagandist" and editor of La Solidaridad. Managed by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the museum is situated on the ancestral site where del Pilar was born and now serves as his final resting place.

The two-story museum structure houses a comprehensive collection of memorabilia, historical documents, and dioramas that chronicle his life, his defiant satirical writings against colonial friars, and his pivotal leadership in the Philippine Propaganda Movement in Spain.

Beyond its role as a memorial, the site functions as a center for historical education, preserving the intellectual legacy of a man whose pen was as instrumental as the sword in the struggle for Filipino identity and reform.
