As part of its mandate to ensure the proper upkeep and maintenance of government assets and properties, the Provincial General Services Office (PGSO), through the GFMD – Planning, Designing, and Engineering Solutions Unit, recently conducted an inspection of the V3 Motorboat in Victoria, Northern Samar together with Engr. Catarina Tenepere and Mr. Harley Dumalaon.

The inspection was conducted to assess the present condition of the motorboat for the proper planning of necessary interventions, repair works, and procurement of needed materials to sustain its operational functionality.

The V3 Motorboat plays a vital role in providing logistical and mobility support for government services delivered to the island municipalities of San Antonio, Capul, Biri, and San Vicente. Ensuring its reliability and seaworthiness is essential in maintaining continuous delivery of programs, coordination activities, and essential government operations in these coastal communities.

Through regular inspection and proactive maintenance planning, the Provincial Government of Northern Samar continues to uphold efficient asset management and responsive public service for every Nortehanon.

As Northern Samar came alive last week for the Ibabao Festival’s Summer Saya — featuring surfing, skimboarding, skateboarding, biking, volleyball, cosplay, dance competitions, fun runs, live bands, rave parties, food parks, and interactive activities — the Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) proudly stood as one of the festival’s logistics backbone.

From the installation of collapsible tents, stage setup, electrical connections, and lighting systems, our dedicated personnel worked day and night to help transform Dalakit Boulevard into a vibrant space for celebration, creativity, and community spirit.

While the spotlight shined on the performers and festivities, countless efforts happened behind the scenes to ensure that every activity was safe, organized, and ready for everyone to enjoy.

𝗗𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆

The Provincial General Services Office – Government Facilities Maintenance Division (GFMD), through its Planning, Designing, and Engineering Solutions Section, conducted an inspection of the ongoing Construction of the Hemodialysis Clinic and Doctor’s Quarter at Allen District Hospital located in Brgy. Kinabranan II, Allen, Northern Samar, including the Installation of the Reverse Osmosis and Reprocessing Unit for the hospital’s Hemodialysis Clinic.

The inspection aimed to assess the progress and compliance of the project with the approved plans, specifications, and operational requirements necessary for the delivery of quality healthcare services. Particular attention was given to the installation of the reverse osmosis and reprocessing unit, which plays a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient dialysis treatment for patients.

Through regular monitoring and technical evaluation, the team remains committed to ensuring that healthcare infrastructure projects are implemented efficiently, safely, and in accordance with standards.

This initiative reflects PGSO-GFMD’s continued commitment to supporting the improvement of public healthcare facilities and strengthening access to quality medical services for the Nortehanon people.

𝗗𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿

The Provincial General Services Office – Government Facilities Maintenance Division (GFMD), through its Building and Grounds Maintenance Section, successfully completed the repair of the 75KVA generator set at G.B. Tan Memorial Hospital under the supervision of Engr. Dil Alegre.

The repair and restoration of the generator set aims to ensure a stable and reliable backup power supply for the hospital, especially during power interruptions and emergency situations. A fully functional genset is essential in supporting uninterrupted healthcare operations and maintaining critical hospital services.

Through the dedication and technical expertise of the team, the hospital’s power support system has been restored and strengthened to better serve patients, healthcare workers, and the community.

This accomplishment reflects PGSO-GFMD’s continued commitment to delivering responsive, reliable, and sustainable maintenance services in support of improved public healthcare facilities for the Nortehanon people.

The Provincial General Services Office – Government Facilities Maintenance Division (PGSO-GFMD), through its Planning, Designing, and Engineering Solutions Section, led by Engr. Janeth Balleta and Engr. Karen Sanchez, together with a team of skilled plumbers and workers, successfully conducted an inspection of the waterline system and the installation of a float switch at Capul District Hospital.

This initiative aims to ensure a more reliable and efficient water supply system within the facility in support of improved healthcare services for the community. The installation of the float switch serves as an important component in maintaining proper water levels, preventing overflow, and promoting sustainable water management within the hospital.

Through continuous monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of essential facility systems, the team remains committed to delivering quality engineering solutions that strengthen public infrastructure and enhance government service delivery for every Nortehanon.

𝗗𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆

The Provincial General Services Office – Asset and Risk Management Division (ARMD), through its Supply Management Unit – Marketing Team, successfully facilitated the delivery of food supplies and marketing provisions to the Northern Samar Provincial Jail, including Allen Sub-Provincial Jail.

The activity aimed to ensure the timely provision of essential food supplies in support of the daily needs and welfare of persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) within the facilities. Through proper coordination and delivery operations, the team helped maintain adequate food supply and continuous support services for the jail facilities.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of PGSO-ARMD in supporting efficient government operations and promoting responsive public service for the welfare of the community.

𝗗𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆

The Provincial General Services Office – Government Facilities Maintenance Division (GFMD), through its Electrical Services Section, successfully conducted the rewiring and retapping of the feeder line for the Old Capitol Supply.

The activity was undertaken to improve the stability, safety, and efficiency of the electrical connection serving the facility. Through the rewiring and retapping works, the team ensured a more reliable power distribution system to support daily operations and prevent possible electrical issues.

This initiative highlights PGSO-GFMD’s commitment to maintaining safe, functional, and efficient government facilities through continuous maintenance and technical support services.

The Provincial General Services Office – Government Facilities Maintenance Division (PGSO-GFMD), through its Planning, Designing, and Engineering Solutions Section, successfully conducted a two-day on-site activity at San Antonio District Hospital focused on the Electrical, Structural, and Architectural As-Built Documentation.

The activity was led by Engr. Jade Marlowe Aleria, Engr. Mariel Giray, and Ms. Cytel Remigio, together with the technical team, who inspected, measured, and verified the hospital’s existing facilities and systems.

The activity focused on preparing As-Built plans, which reflect the actual completed condition of the structure. These plans document all modifications and on-site changes made during construction and accurately show the existing layout of the hospital’s electrical systems, structural components, and architectural features.

The preparation of updated As-Built documents is important for future maintenance, repairs, rehabilitation, and development planning. Accurate records also help ensure that future projects are based on existing site conditions.

This initiative highlights PGSO-GFMD’s commitment to providing efficient and reliable engineering solutions in support of improved public healthcare facilities for the Nortehanon people.

Strengthening healthcare support across the province, the Provincial General Services Office (PGSO), through its Asset and Risk Management Division – Supply Management Team, successfully delivered various essential supplies to Allen District Hospital (ADH), San Antonio District Hospital (SADH), Biri District Hospital (BDH), and Catubig District Hospital (CatDH).

The delivered items included water dispensers, wheelchairs, janitorial supplies, x-ray equipment, and a conference table—critical resources that contribute to the efficiency of hospital operations and the quality of patient care.

This delivery was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the Supply Management Team and the Transportation Division, whose commitment to safe and reliable mobility ensured the timely and secure transport of these essential resources.

Through teamwork and dedication, PGSO continues to uphold responsive, efficient, and people-centered support services for every Nortehanon.

Keeping our fleet safe and road-ready, the Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) facilitated the replacement of the caliper kit (left and right) of Toyota Hilux (SHA 2375).

This routine maintenance ensures that government vehicles remain reliable, safe, and fully operational in supporting day-to-day service delivery.

Through the General Facilities and Maintenance Division’s (GFMD) Electrical Services Section, the Provincial General Services Office successfully conducted its quarterly preventive maintenance of lighting fixtures on the second floor of the Capitol Building.

With precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety, the team ensured that every lighting system functioned efficiently and reliably. Their work went beyond routine maintenance—it reflected their dedication to creating a well-lit, safe, and productive environment for employees and visitors alike.

Through regular inspections, timely repairs, and necessary upgrades, the Powerhouse Team upheld high standards of service excellence. Their consistent efforts demonstrated the Provincial General Services Office’s commitment to delivering quality, dependable, and sustainable support services to the entire Capitol community.
