The Supreme Student Government of Southwestern University PHINMA formally releases 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 6, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 2026, establishing the SSG Ad Hoc Committees and defining their structure, functions, and composition for Academic Year 2026–2027.

This issuance strengthens organizational efficiency, promotes collaborative leadership, and ensures the effective implementation of student-centered initiatives in service of the SWU PHINMA student body.

In light of the tragic shooting incident happened yesterday at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City, we are reminded of the important responsibility we share in securing safety within our educational institutions.

Schools are meant to be sanctuaries of nurturing knowledge, development, and most importantly, shaping futures. The right to education extends beyond access to the classroom, it includes the right to learn, teach, and work in safety.

With this, we extend our deepest sympathies to the victims, their families, and the entire school community. We stand as well in solidarity with them as they endure this deeply painful and difficult time. May they find strength, comfort, and healing in the support of those around them.

May this heartbreaking incident serve as a reminder to strengthen our pursuit in protecting the sanctity of our schools and uphold the right of every individual to learn, teach, and work without the presence of danger. Let our schools remain beacons of knowledge, opportunity, and hope. Let it never be places overshadowed by violence and fear.

The 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 officially welcomed the newest members of the Cobra community, marking the beginning of their journey in the Maroon School.

Leading the welcome, 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝗲 𝗡. 𝗙𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗮, reminded freshmen that their place in the Cobra community began the moment they chose SWU PHINMA. Through his message, he affirmed that every student is seen, valued, and welcomed as part of a community that grows stronger through unity, participation, and shared purpose.

The event also featured the introduction of university leaders, a showcase of SWU PHINMA uniforms, inspiring messages from university officials, vibrant organization booths, and an energetic performance that brought the campus to life despite the light rain. Together, these moments reflected the spirit of resilience, excellence, and camaraderie that defines the Cora spirit.

As the newest Cobras embark on this new chapter, may they carry with them the grit to pursue their dreams, the courage to face challenges, and the pride of belonging to a community that strongly believes in their potential.

This report highlights 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗵-𝗼𝗻-𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 made during the second semester, providing the student body with a clear overview of how student funds were utilized.

The report was prepared through the efforts of the SWU-SSG Treasury Committee under the leadership of Hon. Carla C. Cuerda, SWU-SSG Treasurer. To ensure accuracy and accountability, it was subsequently reviewed and audited by Hon. Angel Clarisse Timbal, SWU-SSG Auditor, and approved by the SWU-SSG Commission on Audit.

𝐁𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐀: A Voters’ Education Forum brought together leaders from public service, the private sector, and local governance to share a common vision: that 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙.
