The Philippine Red Cross Cebu Chapter, in partnership with Angat BPO is set to bring essential humanitarian services closer to the community this July 04, 2026 at SM Seaside Cebu.

This collaborative initiative aims to promote health, safety, and volunteerism by providing Red Cross services and engaging the community in activities that embody the spirit of compassion and bayanihan.

📍 Ongoing: Community-Based Intervention Planning Workshop in Brgy. Poblacion, Alegria, Cebu under the REACH Project of the Philippine Red Cross, funded by IFRC.

The activity is honored by the presence and support of Municipal Mayor Gilberto Magallon, Vice Mayor Verna Magallon, Heads and Representatives from the MDRRMO, MENRO, and Municipal Planning Office, ABC President and Punong Barangay Cristino Villamor Jr., BLGU staff and Council members of Brgy. Poblacion, sector representatives, and our dedicated RC143 Volunteers.

Together, community stakeholders and partners are identifying local needs, prioritizing interventions, and crafting community-driven action plans that will strengthen resilience and promote sustainable development.

Because when communities are empowered to take part in shaping their future, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible. ❤️🤝

‎The Philippine Red Cross Cebu Chapter RC143 Volunteers - WASH Team conducted a Hygiene Promotion activity at Tiltilon Elementary School and Barangay Cotcot, Liloan, Cebu. The activity included a lecture and demonstration on proper handwashing for students, promoting good hygiene practices to help prevent diseases and improve overall health.

‎In addition, the team carried out assessments of the school's handwashing facilities and toilets, as well as a detailed Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) assessment within the community. These activities form part of the Early Recovery Project under the Typhoon Tino Response Operation, helping identify needs and strengthen community resilience as families continue to recover from the effects of the disaster.
