We are beyond excited to share that your newly elected 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 for 2026–2027 have officially taken our oath of office! 🙌

Last April 12, our core officers stepped up and took their oath. And today, April 19, our 6 district Public Information Officers did the same. That means our full team is now complete and ready to serve!

A huge thank you to the 𝗦𝗞 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 and our amazing SK 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻̃𝗼𝗹, for guiding us and for making this moment happen. 💙✨️

Our Reading Intervention Program, an initiative of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay Lahug, continues to nurture young minds through learning, play, and nourishment.

Another successful Saturday for our Katipunan ng Kabataan! Thank you to everyone who made this possible and for helping us bring joy, knowledge, and fun to the children 💛✨

Preparing for Kabataan sa Lahug: Kaon, Kat-on, Kalipay. A reading intervention program created with love and dedication for the children of Golden Valley and Bakilid.

Let's be excited for tomorrow's activity that full of fun, games and meaningful learning experiences.

On November 22, 2025, We officially launched “KABATAAN SA LAHUG: KAON, KAT-ON, KALIPAY – A Reading Intervention Program,” an initiative of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay Lahug dedicated to nurturing young minds through learning, play, and nourishment.

This milestone would not have been possible without the collective effort and unwavering commitment of many hands and hearts. 🌟

To our KK Officers — thank you for your thoughtful planning, dedication, and leadership in making this meaningful event come to life. Although there were many challenges, they did not stop us from keeping our burning passion to make a change, even in small ways, to inspire young hearts and guide them toward the right path by teaching them how to love learning. This launch would not have been possible without your hard work and cooperation. It was a great blessing to have met passionate leaders like you. Your heart in serving the youth truly radiates. May we build stronger friendship and coordination for the success of this event.

To our Barangay Workers — thank you for helping us with the tents. The children wouldn’t have had a comfortable place if it weren’t for your effort. Thank you for always being ready to assist.

To the children who participated in our program — thank you so much for trusting that we can help you in small ways. We, your ates and kuyas, are truly grateful for your participation. Your laughter and simple thank yous are more than enough. May we keep this project sustainable for your growth and development.

And of course, to our youth volunteers, parents, and guardians — your energy, compassion, and willingness to serve made the program’s first day truly impactful. You are the heart of this mission.

Because of all of you, our launching was not just successful — it was inspiring. Together, we are planting seeds of learning, joy, and hope for the children of Lahug. May we never get tired of serving. May we never get tired of making change… even a little.
