On May 28โ29, 2026, the Cluster Development Plan (CDP) Enhancement Activity successfully brought together HVCDP Region XI, PAGRO Davao de Oro, MAO Maragusan, and the officers and members of MAGROW MPC to review, validate, and enhance the clusterโs development plan for the Cavendish banana and corn value chains.
Through a participatory planning process, stakeholders reviewed the clusterโs profile, analyzed current realities, identified gaps and opportunities, and refined strategic interventions to keep the CDP responsive, relevant, and aligned with agricultural development priorities.
The activity showed how collaborative planning strengthens the roadmap for cluster growth, improves productivity, supports sustainable agriculture, and enhances farmer livelihoods.

The DA-RFO XI F2C2 Team continues to roll out the Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach (AECA) for the Montevista Coconut Industry Cluster. In collaboration with the Site Working Group (SWG), and the CFIDP staff, the team recently conducted a series of orientations for sub-clusters across three key barangays: Concepcion, Dauman, and New Visayas.
A central focus of this activity was the gathering of accurate farmer profiles and production dataโthe backbones of any successful cluster. By establishing a clear Production Module and Cluster Supply Plan, our officers are now better equipped to manage supply volumes and project harvests.
Through the AECA process, the Montevista Coconut Industry Cluster moves one step closer to organized, collective marketing and sustainable enterprise management. This strategic approach not only secures better market links but also ensures that our farmers are "market-ready" and resilient.
Together, we are transforming individual efforts into a unified, competitive agro-enterprise!
