JMCFI CES Outreach: Serving the Talaingod Community

The Community Extension Services (CES) team of Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. recently conducted an outreach program at Nasilaban Integrated School, Barangay Palma Gil, Talaingod, Davao del Norte, providing much-needed support to the local community. On February 28, 2026, the team offered free haircuts, community feeding, and the distribution of goods, school supplies, and books.

The activity, led by CES Director Ms. Junalyn Atinen, was a meaningful and rewarding experience for both volunteers and beneficiaries despite the long travel.

JMCFI CES extends sincere gratitude to its partner institution, AFPLCES, and all stakeholders who made the activity possible, including 4 Michael’s Barbershop, Professional Barbers Association, Inc. (PABI), Philippine Navy (PN), Philippine National Police (PNP), Barangay Local Government Unit, and Indigenous People’s Leaders, Datus, and Chieftains.

Special thanks also go to Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. - Integrated Basic Education Department – JHS & PTA, College of Teacher Education, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology for their support.

This outreach reflects JMCFI’s commitment to serve the community and help those in need, a value instilled by our founder, Rev. Dr. Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.

As part of JMCFI’s Community Extension Program on December 12, 2025, Chowking (Buhangin Airport branch) generously donated 50 packs of CHAO Fan to support Indigenous People families in Sitio Patag, Datu Salumay, Marilog District, Davao City.

The donation played a vital role in the gift-giving and community outreach, ensuring that children and families received nourishing meals alongside food packs and other essential support provided by JMCFI students and staff.

This gesture of generosity perfectly reflects Chowking’s commitment to community care and social responsibility, complementing JMCFI’s mission to uplift, educate, and provide health support to remote and underserved communities.

A heartfelt thank you to Chowking (Phil-Japan Highway branch) for helping bring joy, warmth, and nourishment to the Sitio Patag community!
