DCPO Initiates “Talk to Men” Engagement for Newly Graduated PNCOs

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO), under the leadership of PCOL PETER BAUZON MADRIA, City Director, initiated a “Talk to Men” engagement with 299 newly graduated Police Non‑Commissioned Officers (PNCOs) who are set to undergo the Field Training Program (FTP) across the different stations of DCPO. The activity was held at the DCPO Gym, San Pedro Street, Davao City.
This engagement provided an opportunity for PCOL MADRIA to personally address the PNCOs, reminding them of the importance of discipline, professionalism, and integrity as they transition into their respective assignments. He emphasized that their role as frontliners in law enforcement is crucial in strengthening DCPO’s operational capacity and in ensuring effective service to the community.
PCOL MADRIA underscored that the initiative reflects DCPO’s commitment to instill values of accountability and dedication among its personnel, preparing them to uphold the highest standards of policing in line with the PNP’s mantra: “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas — Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.”

DAVAO CITY — The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) has achieved a flawless 100% accomplishment rate in its campaign against Most Wanted Persons for June 2026, successfully neutralizing and arresting every single individual listed on the city’s Top 10 Most Wanted list.
Under the active leadership of City Director PCOL PETER BAUZON MADRIA, DCPO personnel executed a series of relentless, intelligence-driven manhunts and synchronized operations. The sweeping crackdown led to the capture of high-profile fugitives wanted for heinous crimes, including murder, r**e, robbery, carnapping, lascivious conduct, and arson.
"This flawless ex*****on is a testament to our firm resolve: there is no safe haven for criminals in Davao City," said PCOL MADRIA. "Our personnel, backed by strong community cooperation, worked tirelessly to deliver justice to the victims and keep our streets safe."

DCPO BACKS "ADOPT A COTTAGE 2" FUN RUN; PCOL MADRIA PLEDGES FULL SUPPORT
DAVAO CITY – On June 23, 2025, at 2:15 PM, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) City Director PCOL Peter Bauzon Madria firmly committed the command's full operational and logistical backing for the upcoming "Adopt a Cottage 2" Fun Run during a high-level stakeholders' meeting at the DCPO Headquarters today.
The meeting united key pillars of the criminal justice system, including Hon. Rowena M. Apao-Adlawan (RTC Executive Judge and DCJZ Convenor), JCINSP Rovie Ann V. Alcantara (DCJ Annex Jail Warden), and PMAJ Jake Goles (Chief, CCADU).
Organized by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Davao City Justice Zone (DCJZ), the fundraising run aims to build an additional detention facility for the DCJ Annex. The project showcases the active synergy among the pillars of justice and advances humane correctional development, directly supporting PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez’s Focused Agenda on Community Support.

The successful tracking of these high-value fugitives underscores the DCPO's active advocacy to protect vulnerable sectors and uphold the rights of women and children.

This successful operation was carried out in collaboration with the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 11 (RPDEU XI), personnel of the 1st City Mobile Force Company (1st CMFC) and 2nd City Mobile Force Company (2nd CMFC), Buhangin Police Station, and in close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region XI (PDEA XI).
At around 2:10 AM of June 23, 2026, a buy-bust operation was conducted in Esahia St., Emily Home, Brgy Cabantian, Davao City, resulting in the arrest of two drug peddlers. Confiscated during the operation were suspected shabu with an estimated street value of Php 306,000.00.
The effective confiscation of these illegal drugs serves as evidence that when everyone is dedicated to the peace and order of our city, even simple acts such as providing information to the police force can have a significant impact on the safety of our community.
