Proud to celebrate the success of 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 (𝗥𝗜𝗖) 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 held last February 20, 2026 at Barangay Malabog, Paquibato District, Davao City.

With a theme: “𝙉𝙖𝙜𝙠𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙄𝘾 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝙋𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙬𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙪𝙜 𝙃𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙜 𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙢𝙖𝙤𝙣…”

From the energy of the Zumba Competition to the grace and confidence showcased in the Ginang RIC Pageantry, the event was truly a reflection of unity, empowerment, and community spirit.

𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗔 𝟰𝗞𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗔 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗸

Conducted a site validation and survey with 𝗗𝗔 𝟰𝗞’𝘀 in coordination with 𝗔𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗼 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (APATA) at Sitio Paraiso, Brgy. Tapak, Paquibato District, Davao City.

With the assistance of AT William Belaguas of Paquibato District, the activity assessed the proposed site for a 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘃𝗮 (𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮) 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 focusing on site suitability, accessibility, zoning compliance, and availability of raw materials and utilities to support sustainable operations.

🌱 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 🌱

From 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟵–𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 the City Agriculturist’s Office – Paquibato District implemented a series of 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 across selected communities to promote sustainable agriculture, farm diversification, and improved livelihood opportunities.

The activities covered the following:

• Distribution of cacao seedlings to the Pandaitan Farmers Association
• Distribution of 8-in-1 vegetable seeds to partner schools of Brgy. Malabog and in Napo FA in Paquibato Proper
• Delivery and distribution of Lakatan (including tissue-cultured) plantlets to farmers’ organizations in Brgy. Malabog, Brgy. Lumiad, and Brgy. Salapawan.

These initiatives aim to provide quality planting materials, increase agricultural productivity, encourage sustainable farming practices, and strengthen food security and livelihoods in the district.

We successfully conducted the 𝗠𝗔𝗙𝗖 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂-𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 on December 15, 2025, at Paquibato Proper, Paquibato District, together with MAFC Officers and the farmers of Paquibato District.

We gathered to celebrate and recognize our farmers through fun games, an exciting raffle draw, and a shared salu-salo lunch—strengthening camaraderie, expressing gratitude, and fostering unity as the year comes to a close.

The CAgro Paquibato District successfully conducted a series of on-site activities across three locations to facilitate 𝙿𝙲𝙸𝙲 𝚒𝚗𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚎𝚗𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝/𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚎𝚠𝚊𝚕 and 𝚁𝚂𝙱𝚂𝙰 𝚛𝚎𝚐𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚞𝚙𝚍𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 in close coordination with PCIC and DA–RSBSA personnel. These initiatives ensured that farmers remain fully covered under government insurance programs and properly recorded in the national registry for targeting, assistance, and agricultural support services.

These coordinated efforts reinforce our commitment to 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 across the district.

We successfully conducted a capacity-building training on November 27, 2025 for the 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in Sitio Salukadang, Brgy. Mapula. The activity focused on strengthening farmers’ knowledge of 𝘤𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, including proper crop management, fertilization practices, asexual propagation, and the adoption of 𝘣𝘪𝘰-𝘤𝘰𝘯 in cacao production.

In addition, participants received 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 to help them effectively track and record income and expenses—an essential step toward more sustainable and profitable farming.

The activity strengthened farmers’ skills and knowledge, placing emphasis on 𝙥𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙢 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, and the 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙢—all essential for improving productivity and ensuring sustainable coconut production in the district.

‎The Institutional Development Services Division (IDSD) of the Davao City Agriculturist Office successfully conducted a 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 (𝙊𝘽𝙎 𝙄) on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 at Barangay Gymnasium of Pañalum, Paquibato District, Davao City. This activity was supported and assisted by the Pañalum PNP Personnel.

Topics included 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵, 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, and 𝘧𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬. Through lectures and interactive group activities, participants strengthened cooperation and learned strategies to achieve shared organizational goals.
