Today, we paid a courtesy call to our Regional Director, 𝐅/𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 and District Fire Marshal, 𝐅/𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍 extending our heartfelt thanks for their invaluable support during the recent disaster response.

Their leadership and commitment greatly strengthened our efforts in serving the community during such a critical time.

We are deeply grateful for their guidance and partnership, which continue to inspire us to work harder in building resilience and providing timely assistance to those in need.

Ngayong Araw ng mga Ama, ating ipinagdiriwang hindi lamang ang mga haligi ng tahanan, kundi pati na rin ang mga haligi ng ating komunidad, ang mga ama na bahagi ng Bureau of Fire Protection - Davao City Fire District.

Sa kabila ng bigat ng kanilang tungkulin; ang lumaban sa apoy, magligtas ng buhay, at magbigay ng seguridad sa ating bayan. Sila ay patuloy na nagsisilbing huwaran ng tapang, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal.

Sa bawat oras na sila’y malayo sa kanilang pamilya upang tumugon sa tawag ng tungkulin, hindi matatawaran ang kanilang dedikasyon bilang mga ama.

Mula sa Davao City Fire Ditrict - Emergency Medical Services, isang taos-pusong pasasalamat at pagpupugay sa lahat ng working fathers na patuloy na naglilingkod at nagmamahal sa kanilang pamilya at sa bayan.

𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠

After more than a week of searching, rescuers recovered the body of the missing person on June 18. The missing person was last seen tending his goat when a magnitude 7.8 earthquake triggered a landslide on June 8.

Our brave responders from DCFD-EMS and DCFD-SRF, under the leadership of our Regional Director, 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, and under the supervision of our District Fire Marshal, 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, stood firm in their commitment to save and serve.

Through tireless effort and coordinated action, the operation ,led by 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐋 𝐌 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐍, together with SRF R10, SRF R12, SRF BARMM, EMS BARMM and PCG, was successfully carried out.

In response to the recent 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck General Santos City and Glan, Saranggani, the Davao City Fire District - Emergency Medical Services and Special Rescue Force, thru the initiative of our Officer-in-charge, 𝐅/𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝐍𝐄𝐈𝐋 𝐊𝐖𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐈𝐔 , under leadership of our Regional Director, 𝐅/𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 , and under the supervision of our District Fire Marshal, 𝐅/𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍 , promptly deployed personnel and resources to support ongoing emergency response and rescue operations.

Our dedicated responders remain committed to providing immediate medical assistance,pre-hospital care and humanitarian support to the affected communities. We stand in solidarity with our fellow Mindanaoans during this challenging time and continue to coordinate closely with local authorities to ensure the safety and well being of those impacted.

We commend the courage and dedication of all emergency responders working tirelessly on the ground. Let us continue to pray for the safety of the affected residents and for the success of all response and recovery efforts.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞

On or about 2131H 07 June 2026, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director BFP XI and supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, District Fire Marshal, the DCFD-EMS, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐌𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨, responded to a 2nd alarm-fire incident at 19-B,Bajada, Davao City, providing immediate emergency medical assistance to one affected patient on scene (1 trauma-burn)

Through coordinated response and swift action, the patient was assessed, managed, given first aid treatment and transported to SPMC for further medical intervention.

on successfully completing the 5-day Wilderness Survival Search and Rescue (W.I.S.S.A.R) training program conducted by the BFP R11 Davao City Fire District - Special Rescue Force ,held from May 31 to June 4, 2026.

Wilderness survival search and rescue (WISSAR) training equips trainees with critical life-saving skills, resilience, and specialized knowledge to operate effectively in remote, high-risk environments. It combines practical survival techniques, medical training, navigation, and psychological preparedness to ensure both rescuers and victims can be sustained until extraction.
