What began as a small group of farmers in 2020 has grown into a more resilient and thriving organization, proving that with the right support and determination, rural communities can create lasting opportunities for their members.
The Pantuyan Mandaya Farmers Association (PMFA) was established in 2020 with the goal of improving the livelihoods of farmers in their community. While membership has since settled at 35 active members, the association has remained steadfast in pursuing sustainable income-generating activities for its members.

The Department of AgricultureโPhilippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) held a two-day SIDLAN Retooling Workshop for RPCO XI on June 22โ23, 2026, in Davao City. The workshop, facilitated by the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Unit, aimed to further strengthen the data management and reporting capacity.
Participants included personnel from I-PLAN, I-BUILD regional infrastructure engineers (RIEs), I-REAP business development officers (BDOs), and I-SUPPORT component units such as SES, MEL, Procurement, Finance, Econ, and the Geo-mapping and Governance Unit (GGU). These teams play a vital role in encoding, updating, and uploading accurate project information and data, supported by signed Means of Verification (MOVs), into SIDLAN.
SIDLAN serves as the official Management Information System and central repository for PRDP Scale Up data. With its role-based access structure, the system ensures that users are given the appropriate access levels, helping improve the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of data management and reporting under PRDP Scale Up. | Via InfoACE Davao.

The 9th Regional Organic Agriculture Congress (ROAC) with the theme, โKabuhayang OA, Kinabukasang OK: Organikong Pagkain sa Pamilya ay Ihain!โ was held at World Palace Business Center, Davao City.
The 3-day congress is aiming to improve cooperation between local government units, farmer organizations, state universities and colleges, government agencies, private sector partners, and civil society organizations.
The National Organic Agriculture Program (NOAP) updates, messages from key officials, stakeholder recognition, and the awarding of Certificates of Accreditation to recently accredited Participatory Guarantee SystemโOrganic Certifying Bodies (PGS-OCBs), specifically BEDOPaRWA and DOAFA, as well as the Certificate of Continuing Accreditation to MOFARMCO, are highlighted in todayโs opening program.
