The PhilHealth Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) Orientation was successfully conducted for the 4Ps beneficiaries of Barangay Dian-ay, Escalante City, in collaboration with PhilHealth Sagay and 4Ps Escalante staffs.

The activity aimed to increase beneficiaries' awareness of their PhilHealth benefits, membership updates, and access to healthcare activities where this initiative also guides them to make informed decisions for the health and well-being of their families.

Through the orientation, participants gained valuable knowledge and insights on the importance of the primary care benefit packages where members and dependents free to basic healthcare services, including consultations, outpatient lab tests, early detection screening and up to Php 20,000 with of free maintenance, and essential medicines.

The orientation was concluded successfully, enhancing the beneficiaries' awareness of available health services and benefits while reinforcing the objectives of the 4Ps Program in fostering healthier, more informed, and resilient households within the community.

Sometimes success is delayed, but it is never denied♥️

We also extend our sincere thanks to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), headed by Ms. Janine Aguanta Bugtong, for their unwavering support of all programs under the Department of Social Welfare and Development – 4Ps, and to Team Escalante City.

To the parents of the students who participated in the 235th Culminating Ceremony and successfully passed the Contact Center Services NC II Training (Batch 5), congratulations. These students are now employed in different BPO companies.

We would also like to give special thanks to all the staff and trainers of the Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center (NOLITC), headed by Dr. Ma. Cristina B. Orbecido, Ph.D., for giving these students the opportunity to grow and succeed♥️

Privileged to meet with DSWD Undersecretary Alan Tanjusay and DSWD Field Office NIR Regional Director Arwin O. Razo. Witnessed the Ceremonial Mass Turnover of 14 completed sub-projects under the DSWD PAMANA Peace and Development Batch 4 Cycle 3.

​Today, February 9, 2026, the City Convergence Committee (CCC) met to ensure that no Escalantehanon is left behind. We believe that poverty isn’t solved by one office alone—it takes a "whole-of-government" approach to create real change.

​Led by DSWD-Pantawid Escalante, we sat down with our partners from DepEd, DOH, SLP, Kalahi-CIDSS, and our LGU Heads of Offices to fine-tune our shared mission.

When we synchronize our efforts, the impact is doubled. Onward, Escalante!
