DTI Region 8 celebrates the achievement of 47 mentee-graduates from Eastern Visayas who successfully completed the 2026 KMME-MME Online Program Batch 1 of the Department of Trade and Industry and Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship. The online graduation ceremony marked the culmination of their mentorship journey, celebrating their dedication to learning, innovation, and business growth.

After completing the 10-module mentorship program, graduates are encouraged to build on the knowledge they have gained, apply the strategies they were taught, expand their network, and continue learning, to sustain the growth of their businesses and eventually contribute to the economic development of their communities.

On June 6, 2026, Negosyo Center Guiuan attended the Monthly Meeting of the Guiuan Integrated Micro Entrepreneurs Association (GIMEA), with 20 member MSMEs in attendance, along with aspiring entrepreneurs interested in joining the association.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the introduction of prospective members, who shared their respective products and services, showcasing the diversity and potential of Guiuan's growing entrepreneurial community. The participation of new and younger entrepreneurs is particularly significant, as their fresh ideas, innovative approaches, and active involvement contribute to the continued growth, sustainability, and future leadership of the association.

The meeting also covered important discussions on membership roles and responsibilities, strategic planning, and other organizational matters aimed at strengthening the association and enhancing its capacity to support local enterprises.
