On May 14, 2026, DICT Region VI, led by Regional Director Reynaldo Sy, formally received the vehicle from NTC Region VI led by Regional Director Jovita V. Chongco, highlighting the strong partnership between our agencies in advancing efficient and responsive public service in Western Visayas.

This support will further strengthen DICT Region VI’s field operations and help bring digital government programs closer to the communities we serve.

𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗗𝗢𝗙 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 — The National Single Window (NSW) Steering Committee convened a Special Meeting chaired by Frederick D. Go and DICT Usec. David Almirol, with representatives from DTI, BSP, DOF, DA, DILG, DOH, DOTr, DEPDev, ARTA, and BOC.

The Committee reviewed progress and a system demonstration of the NSW-Integrated Trade Facilitation Platform (NSW-ITFP), and discussed harmonizing trade-related regulatory requirements—licenses, permits, and clearances—through a single online entry point. Members considered next steps to reduce costs, remove duplication, and improve cargo clearance efficiency, aligned with the digitalization agenda.

The platform remains under development pending inter-agency coordination and technical validation. Once operational, it is envisioned to streamline import, export, and transit documentation through a unified submission system, replacing fragmented manual processes.

𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 - Nagpulong ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), sa pamumuno ni Usec. David Almirol, at ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), na kinatawan nina Usec. Maria Theresa Dizon-De Vega at OSEC Chief Ma. Antonina Mendoza-Oblena, upang talakayin ang pagpapabilis ng proseso ng eApostille bilang bahagi ng patuloy na digitalization ng public services.

Ang eApostille ay digital certification o seal mula sa DFA na nagpapatunay na authentic at valid ang dokumento o kontrata para magamit sa international transactions. Dumalo rin sa pagpupulong sina Asec. Anne Jalando-on Louis, Acting Director Laser Blitz Sumagaysay, Acting Director Janice Sanchez-River, Acting Director Maria Flordeliza A. Tuiza, at Special Assistant Ma. Claribel Ochoa.

Alinsunod sa digitalization agenda ng pamahalaan, inaasahang mapapadali ang transactions ng mga mamamayan sa pamamagitan ng mas mabilis, efficient, at secure na authentication ng mga dokumento. Dito, mababawasan ang pangangailangang magtungo sa mga tanggapan para sa ilang proseso, at magiging mas accessible ang serbisyo lalo na para sa mga nasa abroad o nasa malalayong lugar na may limitadong access sa government offices.
