June 16, 2026 | The newly designated Chief of Police of the Quezon Municipal Police Station, PMAJ Arnel L. Acain, together with PEMS Arnold Berbon, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of Municipal Mayor Hon. Daryl G. Gascon today.
The visit served as an opportunity to formally introduce the new station commander and to discuss matters concerning peace and order, public safety, and the continued partnership between the Local Government Unit of Quezon and the Philippine National Police in delivering responsive public service to the community.
Mayor Gascon welcomed PMAJ Acain and expressed the LGUโs support for programs and initiatives that strengthen law enforcement efforts and promote the welfare and security of every Quezonian.

June 16, 2026 | A significant chapter closes while another begins as the Quezon Municipal Police Station formally conducted its Turnover of Office Ceremony, honoring the dedicated service of outgoing Chief of Police, PMAJ Clarence DG Labasan, and welcoming PMAJ Arnel L Acain as the new Chief of Police of Quezon, Isabela.
The ceremony served as a fitting tribute to PMAJ Labasanโs leadership to public service. Through his tenure, he devoted himself to maintaining peace, order, and public safety in the municipality. In recognition of his invaluable contributions, a Certificate of Recognition was awarded by PCOL Manuel B. Bringas.
As he bid farewell, PMAJ Labasan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the local government, partner agencies, stakeholders, and the people of Quezon for their trust, cooperation, and support throughout his service.
Taking the helm of the station, PMAJ Acain formally assumed office and reaffirmed the Philippine National Policeโs commitment to serve and protect the community. His assumption of leadership marks a renewed chapter for the organization, guided by the same mission of delivering responsive, effective, and people-centered police service.
Serving as Guest of Honor, Municipal Mayor Hon. Daryl G. Gascon acknowledged the dedication rendered by the outgoing Chief of Police and expressed confidence in the leadership of PMAJ Acain. June 16, 2026 | Mrs. Mariel N. Vallejo formally took her Oath of Office as Municipal Treasurer of Quezon, Isabela, today at the office of the municipal Mayor Daryl G. Gascon, following the issuance of her appointment by the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) on June 11, 2026.
Prior to her appointment, Mrs. Vallejo served as Local Treasury Operations Officer II of the Municipal Government of Quezon beginning September 1, 2022. Upon the retirement of former Municipal Treasurer Mrs. Rose Marie Appal, she was entrusted with the duties of Acting Municipal Treasurer, where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Municipal Treasury Office.
The Municipal Government of Quezon extends its congratulations to Mrs. Vallejo and wishes her success as she takes on this important role in safeguarding the municipalityโs financial resources and supporting programs and services for the people of Quezon.
