The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 2 joins the nation in observing the National Flag Days from May 28 to June 12, 2026, as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of every Filipino who stood for the country’s freedom and dignity.

As we raise the Philippine Flag with pride, may it continue to remind us of our duty to serve with honor, integrity, and commitment to the people and the nation.

In line with the commitment to public safety and community service, duty personnel of Cordon Fire Station, under the supervision of FINSP JERICHO F MIRANDA, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted flushing operations at the public market to maintain cleanliness, improve water flow, and prevent clogging that may cause flooding and unsanitary conditions. Simultaneously, water rationing activities were carried out to provide assistance to the participants of the Youth Quest Summer Camp at Brgy. Wigan, Cordon.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 2 successfully conducted its Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the BFP Regional Office 2, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

During the program, 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐎 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨, Municipal Fire Marshal, Mallig Fire Station, shared insights on the core value of “Acceptance,” highlighting the importance of embracing the duties, challenges, and responsibilities that come with being a firefighter. FINSP Castro was likewise awarded a "𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏"
in recognition of his dedication and contributions to the service.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 2 personnel attended the online briefing and coordination meeting on the upcoming launch of the BFP 911 Satellite Command Center via Zoom at the BFP Regional Office 2, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The activity covered operational updates, system readiness, and coordination measures necessary for the establishment of a more reliable emergency communication and response network. Discussions also focused on the integration of command center operations and reporting procedures.
