Structure and space are important, but they mean very little without genuine affection. A second chance becomes much more effective when a child feels truly valued.

At JJWC, we prioritize understanding the individual needs of the youth we serve. Love remains the most powerful tool for transformation.

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads who continue to show up, guide, and protect their families with unconditional love. Your strength and wisdom serve as the foundation upon which our children build their dreams and learn right from wrong.

The Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council honors your vital role in shaping the hearts and minds of the next generation. By standing as pillars of positive discipline and support, you help us create a safer, more nurturing world for every Filipino child.

The meeting highlighted the active participation and firm commitment of key regional leaders. Mayor Wilfredo Oliva of Iriga City, Regional President of the League of Cities, expressed strong support for advocating the establishment of a Bahay Pag-asa in Camarines Sur, as well as the upcoming Juvenile Justice and Welfare Week (JJWeek) celebration. Similarly, Mr. Linus Joseph Ravidad, representing Mayor Carlos Irwin Baldo (Regional President of the League of Municipalities), expressed support for establishing a Bahay Pag-asa in Albay. Both leagues reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the implementation of the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act, emphasizing the critical need to enhance programs and services that promote the protection and development of children in the region.

The meeting served as a platform for strengthening inter-agency collaboration, harmonizing efforts, and further advancing the effective implementation of juvenile justice and welfare programs in the Bicol Region.

We extend our appreciation to all participating agencies and partners for their continued commitment and active support in upholding the rights and promoting the welfare of children in conflict with the law and children at risk.

Wave your flags high as we honor the courage of our ancestors who fought bravely for the freedom we enjoy today. This Independence Day is a beautiful reminder that our liberty is a gift meant to be protected and passed down to the next generation.

For us at the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council, this freedom includes ensuring that every child is given a fair chance to reform and succeed. Together, let us cultivate a nation where no youth is left behind in our journey toward genuine progress.
