The volume of production for other crops in Albay during the first quarter from 2022 to 2026 reflects continuous decline in terms of volume of production. Non-food and industrial crops consistently contributed the largest share of production throughout the five-year period while Fruit crop production remained the smallest contributor but showed relatively moderate declines compared to vegetables and root crops.

The Philippine Statistics Authority - Provincial Statistical Office of Albay conducted a two-day National ID mobile registration last May 29 to 30, 2026 at Barangay Palanog, Camalig, Albay. This activity is a continued effort of the office to bring government service closer to the public and to ease the burden of the vulnerable sectors for distant travel to the registration centers and long queue of clients. Information Awareness Campaign was also conducted to educate the community of the importance and usage of all formats of National ID (PVC card, NID in paper form, and digital version). Through this initiative, National ID registration serves as a significant key for faster access to government services, social protection benefits, opening of bank accounts, school enrollment requirements, and other important transactions in both public and private institutions.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Albay successfully conducted Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) Mobile Registration activities in May 2026 in coordination with the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) of Bacacay and Guinobatan. The initiative provided free registration under BRAP and focused on barangays with a high number of unregistered residents in Albay, helping improve civil registration coverage and access to essential government services.
