𝐏𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐞𝐩, 𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐡𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞

(Legazpi City, May 29, 2025) Iminungkahi ni Provincial Administrator Dr. Cedric D. Daep ang Provincial Organic Vegetable Experiment Station (POVES) sa Buang, Tabaco City upang maging learning site ng mga magsasaka at mag-aaral.

Ito ay upang magkaroon ng demonstration farm hinggil sa mga agricultural practices na pwedeng matutunan ng mga estudyante at mga researchers.

Ayon kay Daep, maganda ang lupa sa nasabing barangay dahil may natural itong pataba kung kaya't mainam itong pag-aralan ng mga estudyanteng kumukuha ng kurso na may kaugnayan sa agrikultura, at pagnenegosyo na mula sa Bicol University Guinobatan Campus at Bicol University College of Business, Economics and Management (BU CBEM).

“This area is suitable to educate farmers and student coming in for their studies, dahil yaon digdi ang natural work for agriculture, we can demonstrate the kind of practice that we are cultivating, so that they can learn from us,” paliwanag ni Daep.

Kaugnay nito, binanggit din ng opisyal na magandang supplemental educational support ang mga paraan na ginagamit ng mga magsasaka sa nasabing lugar.

Ang naturang mungkahi ay bahagi lamang ng mga estratehiya ng lalawigan upang mapaunlad pa ang sektor ng sakahan sa Albay.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The International Organization for Migration (IOM) paid a courtesy call to Provincial Administrator Dr. Cedric D. Daep, held earlier today at the Dignitaries Hall, Albay Capitol, Legazpi City.

This visit demonstrates the need for collaboration between country leadership and international organizations to foster sustainable development, enhance migration management and support vulnerable communities in our region.

They are scheduled for a 2-day information and knowledge exchange, workshop, and launching of 3 projects on May 22 and 23 at Misibis Bay Resort.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Provincial Composite Lahar Management Committee (PCLMC) convened for a regular meeting today, May 14, 2025, at Albay Capitol.

The comprehensive inspection report detailing findings and recommendations from the April 30 assessment of proposed river restoration areas in the 1st and 2nd districts was presented.

Members from the offices of the Provincial Government of Albay (PGA), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bicol, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol, Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) V, and DENR-Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Albay attended the meeting.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Office of the Provincial Administrator convened the Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) department heads yesterday, May 14, 2025, at the Dignitaries Hall, Albay Capitol, for the regular PGA Kapihan.

Provincial Administrator Dr. Cedric D. Daep oriented the heads of offices with Executive Order (EO) No. 24 s. 2025, an order establishing the Local Government Transition Team (LGTT) aiming to ensure a smooth turnover of all necessary documents to the new administration by July.

(Legazpi City, April 21, 2025) Nakatakdang bumuo ang Office of Civil Defense (OCD) katuwang si Albay Provincial Administrator Dr. Cedric D. Daep ng training modules para sa disaster risk reduction at climate change program ng bansa.

Ayon kay Daep, sila ay bubuo ng konsepto ng disenyo ng nasabing training modules para sa mga local chief executives, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) personnels, legislators, technical persons, media, at business sector.

Sa pamamagitan aniya nito, ang disaster risk management at mga paraan upang mabawasan ang mga casualty at pinsala sa panahon ng sakuna ay mas madaling maibabahagi.

Aniya, kapag nagawa at natapos na ang training modules na ito ay magiging malaking tulong ito hindi lang sa Albay kundi pati sa buong bansa.

“Pag nagibo ta iyan, pwedeng gibuhon iyan pag binuhay ta ang Climate Change Academy then in partnership with Office of Civil Defense pwedeng i-finance ng OCD [ang] mga training programs bako sana sa Albay kundi sa bilog na Pilipinas,” saad nito sa panayam.
