LOOK: The Privatization and Management Office (PMO), led by Chief Privatization Officer Michael Peter A. Alejandro, met with representatives of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau in Quezon City to discuss a national government-owned mining asset.

Present in the meeting were Assistant Secretary Ferdinand M. Pallera, Genevieve Masahud and Genelin Licos of the Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs.

📢 UPDATE: PMO Enhances Asset Disposition Through Updated Guidelines

The Privatization and Management Office (PMO) conducted a Public Auction on 14 April 2026 at its Makati City office.

Under PMO’s enhanced disposition guidelines, the lone bidder was given the opportunity to formally submit an offer to purchase, which is currently under evaluation in accordance with established approval processes. This refined approach demonstrates PMO’s commitment to a more responsive and efficient asset disposition system, ensuring continued progress even in cases of limited bidder participation.

The PMO remains committed to transparency, accountability, and adherence to established policies in all its disposition activities.
