Earlier today, June 22, 2026, the youth and residents of Barangay Poblacion gathered at Lagundi Beach for our Annual Youth Coastal Clean-up Day, starting as early as 6:00 AM!

This meaningful environmental initiative was made possible through Resolution No. 24, Series of 2025, which successfully requested the Sangguniang Barangay of Poblacion to enact Barangay Ordinance No. 2025-07, officially declaring June 22 of every year as our dedicated Youth Coastal Clean-up Day.

Holding this clean-up today is especially crucial as we prepare for the upcoming annual Feast of St. John the Baptist (Hibok-Hibokan) on June 24. As our community readies for this vibrant cultural and religious festivity—filled with water activities, parades, and gatherings—we made it a priority to ensure our coastal area is pristine, safe, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

🤝This event wouldn't have been such a massive success without our incredible partners. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) for keeping our volunteers safe and supported and The Philippine Coast Guard for providing security, guidance, and working hand-in-hand with our youth.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who rolled up their sleeves and showed true bayanihan spirit for our environment. Let's keep this momentum going as we celebrate Hibok-Hibokan! 🥳🎉

Yesterday, we proudly participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 by distributing cleaning and sanitation supplies such as brooms, dustpans, mops, alcohol, and other essential materials to our three elementary schools in Barangay Poblacion.

Together with our SPES beneficiaries, we joined hands in supporting our schools and helping create a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for our students as they prepare for another school year.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who took part in this meaningful initiative. Through unity, volunteerism, and service, we continue to build a stronger and more supportive community for our youth.

Yesterday, we participated in the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Orientation together with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), led by DOLE-X Camiguin Officer-in-Charge Mr. Orlando N. Abrenica Jr. and Labor and Employment Officer III Ms. Annalyn A. Laser.

The orientation served as an important step in equipping our student beneficiaries with the knowledge and guidance needed as they embark on this meaningful employment opportunity. We extend our gratitude to DOLE for their continued support in empowering the youth through programs that promote learning, productivity, and personal growth.

Our 14U and 17U Boys Basketball Teams have officially secured their spots in the Finals!

The journey started last night as our 14U boys punched their ticket to the championship round. Tonight, the 17U squad followed suit with a hard-fought semifinal victory over Brgy. Magting, completing a perfect 2-for-2 semifinal run.

Two teams. Two victories. One goal. 🏆
