BFP EMS Mandaluyong City, Ambulance 451 personnel, led by SFO1 Nino King Amos A Batulan, Shift A Team Leader, and headed by SFO2 Jethro Kloss B Ferranco, Acting Chief, EMS, under the supervision of City Fire Marshal ๐ญ๐บ๐ผ๐ท๐ป ๐ฑ๐ณ ๐จ๐จ๐น๐ถ๐ต ๐ท ๐ช๐จ๐น๐ถ, responded to a medical assistance incident at Brgy. Hulo, Mandaluyong City.
The incident involved a male who was reportedly experiencing a drug overdose.
The patient was found disoriented and became unconscious a few minutes later. The EMS team conducted a primary assessment and monitored the patient's vital signs. Due to the patient's weight, the EMS team requested assistance from Hulo Fire Substation personnel in bringing the patient down to the ground floor.
The patient was then safely transported to Mandaluyong City Medical Center for further medical evaluation and treatment.

The BFP Mandaluyong City Central Fire Station, under the supervision of City Fire Marshal ๐ญ๐บ๐ผ๐ท๐ป ๐ฑ๐ณ ๐จ๐จ๐น๐ถ๐ต ๐ท ๐ช๐จ๐น๐ถ, conducted a lecture on the proper Donning and Doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and provided a Fire Truck Orientation for the nursing students of Divine Word College of Bangued.
The activity aimed to familiarize the students with the proper use of firefighting personal protective equipment, enhance their awareness of fire service operations, and provide them with basic knowledge of the functions and capabilities of a fire truck. This initiative also highlighted the importance of safety, preparedness, and the role of the BFP in protecting lives and property.

As the country moves towards a greener and more technologically advanced future, the Bureau of Fire Protection ensures its personnel are highly prepared for evolving modern fire safety and rescue challenges.
In compliance with the official directive issued by District Fire Marshal ๐
๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, District Fire Marshal, Fire District IV, designated BFP officers and personnel attended the specialized Seminar on Electric Vehicles Safety hosted by the Department of Energy (DOE).
Adapting to digital platforms, the crucial training was held virtually via Zoom on 16 June 2026 at 0800H. Participants logged into the digital conference ready to learn about advanced emergency response protocols, lithium-ion battery hazard management, and specific fire safety standards unique to electric vehicles (EVs).
Continuous learning and specialized technical training empower our firefighters to effectively protect the community amid changing technological landscapes. Safe driving, smart infrastructure, and a fire-safe nation.
