The ongoing construction of the Tagudin Slaughterhouse in Brgy. Ranget, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur continues to move forward, with current works focused on the structural concrete and reinforcing steel bar.
A recent on-site inspection was conducted to verify that construction activities are progressing in full compliance with approved plans, engineering standards, and quality requirements. Such regular monitoring and evaluation activities are essential to ensuring that the project is implemented safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established sanitary and regulatory guidelines.
Upon completion, the facility is expected to provide local livestock raisers, meat vendors, and consumers with a modern, hygienic, and fully compliant slaughterhouse that will enhance food safety standards, improve operational efficiency, and support the sustainable growth of the local livestock and meat industry.
As of May 28, 2026, the project has reached 11.43% cumulative physical progress, marking the early stages of development toward a facility that will benefit both producers and consumers in Tagudin.
