On 26 May 2026, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board - Region VII conducted an ISTIV Bayanihan Training for modern jeepney and tricycle operators under the Workers' Organization Development Program (WODP) of DOLE VII. 💙❤️

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦: 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006, here are the remaining Regular Holidays and Special (Non-Working) Days for the year 2026.

𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀
🔹 If the employee did not work, he/she shall be paid 100% of his/her wage for that day, provided that he/she is present, or on leave with pay, the day preceding the holiday.
🔹 For work done, the employee shall be paid a total of 200% of his/her wage for that day for the first eight hours.

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 (𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴) 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀
🔹 If the employee did not work, the "no work, no pay" principle shall apply, unless there is a favorable company policy, practice, or Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) granting payment on a Special Day.
🔹 For work done, the employee shall be paid an additional 30% of his/her basic wage on the first eight hours of work.

❓ What is the treatment for waiting time while on call?

✅ An employee who is required to remain on call at the employer's premises, or so close thereto that he cannot use the time effectively and gainfully for his own purpose, shall be considered as 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹.

On 26 May 2026, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board - Region VII conducted an orientation on Usapang 2Ps: Pasahod at Productivity for establishments in the Municipality of Cordova, Cebu, during the Technical and Advisory Visit of DOLE VII. 💙❤️

In coordination with the City Government of Mandaue, through its Public Employment Service Office, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board - Region VII conducted an ISTIV Bayanihan Training for various associations in Brgy. Jagobiao, City of Mandaue, Cebu. 💙❤️
