The 250PAW Safety Stand-Down on 16 April 2026 headed by Wing Commander, 250th PAW BGEN ALVIN M HATE PAF was a highly impactful event that strengthened safety awareness, deepened operational knowledge, and reinforced a proactive culture of risk prevention and mission readiness.

The Safety Lecture Series featured distinguished SMEs who shared invaluable insights with participants. Engr. Sandino Cuasay of Lufthansa Technik Philippines delivered an engaging discussion on maintenance safety best practices, highlighting the vital link between quality and safety, the risks of poor maintenance, and disciplined approaches to ensuring airworthiness. Meanwhile, LTC Danilo D. Belonia PAF (Ret) provided practical lessons from his military and civilian aviation experience, emphasizing proven strategies to enhance safety, efficiency, and sound decision-making in flight operations.

The lectures were followed by the Well-Done Awards Ceremony, honoring individuals who have consistently exemplified excellence, vigilance, and unwavering commitment to safety. These recognitions not only celebrate individual achievement but also reaffirm our collective dedication to upholding the highest safety standards and fostering a strong culture of accountability across the organization.

In closing, we extend our sincere appreciation to Engr. Cuasay and LTC BELONIA PAF (Ret) for generously sharing their expertise and reinforcing our culture of safety. Their insights have equipped us with practical knowledge and renewed our commitment to integrating safety into every aspect of our operations. PAF SA MISYON NG PAGKALINGA: 346 OFWs LIGTAS NA NAKABALIK SA IKA-SIYAM NA REPATRIATION

Mainit na pagsalubong ang ipinamalas ng Hukbong Himpapawid ng Pilipinas, katuwang ang Office of the President, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Department of Migrant Workers, Department of Health, at Bureau of Immigration, sa pagtanggap sa 346 na mga umuwing Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) mula sa Gitnang Silangan ngayong ika-13 ng Abril 2026 sa Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City. Bilang bahagi ng ika-siyam na repatriation effort ng pamahalaan, ligtas silang nakabalik sa sariling bayan sa tulong ng maayos at organisadong koordinasyon ng iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno.

Sa pagdating, agad na nagbigay ang mga tauhan ng PAF ng kinakailangang tulong at serbisyo upang matiyak ang kaginhawaan at kaligtasan ng mga OFWs hanggang sa kanilang susunod na destinasyon. Sa gitna ng mga hamon ng ganitong operasyon, nananatiling matatag ang Hukbong Himpapawid ng Pilipinas sa pagtupad ng mandato nito—maglingkod at magbigay proteksyon sa bawat Pilipino, saan man sa mundo.

For the Bluebirds, their giting (valiance) is not just a lesson from the past; it is the pamana (legacy) that defines our modern service. It is reflected in every safe mission, every technical detail, and our unwavering fidelity to the Commander-in-Chief and the Republic.

**480th Maintenance and Supply Group Conducts Focus Group Discussion with Honeywell Aerospace Technologies**

The 480th Maintenance and Supply Group, 250th Presidential Airlift Wing, conducted a Focus Group Discussion with Subject Matter Expert (SME) Mr. Clark Rodgers, Field Service Engineer of Honeywell Aerospace Technologies—a division of Honeywell International, Inc. and a leading global provider of integrated avionics, engines, systems, and service solutions for commercial, defense, and space aircraft—via video teleconference on 07 April 2026.

Unit fixed-wing Maintenance Officers, Engine Specialists, and Crew from the Gulfstream G280 and Hawker 800XP aircraft attended the session.

The discussion facilitated technical coordination and an exchange of insights on the HTF7250 engine for the G280 aircraft and the TFE731 engine for the Hawker 800XP aircraft. It aimed to enhance maintenance awareness, sustainment capabilities, and technical collaboration.

This engagement reinforces the Group's commitment to maintenance excellence and reliable support for the Wing's operational and mission readiness.
