As of 2:00 PM today, 18 June 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 06b) is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a "MEDIUM" chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Every time a disaster strikes, we call on our DRRM workers to risk their lives for our communities.

That’s why I filed House Bill No. 9713 – the Magna Carta for Public Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Workers.

This bill seeks to provide hazard pay, health and insurance benefits, mental health support, career development, and stronger protection for the brave men and women who are always first to respond when we need help most.
