Officer Nicole Chan who lost her battle with mental health, remembered as a dedicated and promising young officer who served her community with professionalism and care.

She worked in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, handling some of the city’s toughest calls. Fellow officers and community members described her as hardworking, respected, and deeply committed to helping others.
