Simula na ang bagong school year sa mga Child Development Centers sa buong bansa. Sama-sama nating salubungin ang masasayang kaganapan sa unang araw na ito.

Kaya naman, inaanyayahan namin ang mga Child Development Teacher (CDTs), Child Development Worker (CDWs), at mga magulang na magbahagi ng kanilang mga larawan o video ng first day of class ng mga bata.

📧 I-email ang mga ito sa [email protected] kasama ang pangalan ng inyong center at LGU. Gamitin din ang hashtag na sa inyong mga posts!

📌 Paalala: Ang lahat ng larawan at video na inyong ipapadala ay ituturing na may kaukulang pahintulot o consent mula sa mga magulang o guardian upang magamit ang mga ito sa opisyal na social media pages, resources, at iba pang print materials ng ECCD Council.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐠?

This June, help your children feel ready to go back to the Child Development Centers.

Preparing your children’s bag is a simple yet meaningful way to support them. Everyday items can help children feel more comfortable and confident as they participate in activities in the CDCs. Plus, it’s an activity that the children can take part in.

Here are a few suggestions of what you can include in your children’s bag:
✅Name tag with Parent/Guardian’s Name and Contact Number
✅Towel
✅Extra Clothes
✅Water Bottle
✅Snacks

Remember that a well-prepared bag supports your children as they learn, play, and grow!

UBS Optimus Foundation Visit to the Philippines

Hui Fang from the UBS Optimus Foundation visited the Philippines to learn more about the MORECare4YoungChildren Project and meet with key partners, including Asia Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC), the ECCD Council, and local stakeholders in Cainta. During the visit, Hui engaged with Child Development Workers and Teachers, parents, caregivers, and young children, and observed the implementation of the Infant and Toddler Early Development (ITED) Program at a child development center.

The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on project learnings and underscore the importance of accurate and reliable data in ensuring that early childhood development programs effectively reach the young children and families who need them most.

The Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Council proudly joins the National Privacy Commission (NPC) in celebrating Privacy Awareness Week (PAW) 2026. This annual observance serves as a vital reminder of our collective duty to protect personal information and uphold the fundamental right to privacy in our increasingly digital society.

With the theme “ANAMNESIS: Looking Back and Moving Forward,” we stand with the NPC in reflecting on the progress made in data protection for the past decade, while renewing our commitment to safeguarding personal data in the Philippines. As technology evolves, particularly with the rise of artificial intelligence, we embrace the spirit of Digital Bayanihan to nurture privacy consciousness and collectively shape the next chapter of privacy protection.

In our capacity as a personal information controller, we remain steadfast in our commitment to the Data Privacy Act of 2012. We pledge to maintain the highest standards of transparency, security, and accountability in all our data processing activities.

We invite everyone to participate in this observance by fostering a culture of privacy advocacy and remaining empowered through understanding of their fundamental data privacy rights.
