WHAT’S NEW IN THE HOUSE. In recognition of his "effective and decisive" contributions to uplift the lives of the urban poor through decent housing, the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) has conferred the Bayani ng Urban Poor Award 2026 to Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development ( ) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling.

PBBM's 4PH DELIVERS 1ST EVER TRANSITORY SHELTER IN NAGA CITY. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s flagship Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program delivers Naga City's first ever transitory shelter after the on Thursday turned over the Bayanihan Village in Barangay Pacol.

Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling initially turned over to Mayor Leni Robredo 101 modular shelter units (MSUs) which are now ready for occupancy at the Bayanihan Village. Two hundred more MSUs are planned to be put up in the area, along with health and day care facilities.

Mayor Robredo welcomed the eatablishment of the Bayanihan Village that will serve as the first ever temporary shelter for Nagueno-families in need, especially victims of calamity. Initially, displaced families due to a recent fire incident will be taking refuge at the Bayanihan Village.

Under PBBM's Expanded 4PH, Secretary Aliling pioneered the deployment of MSUs to serve as safer and dignified evacuation homes for families affected by disasters. Last year, the DHSUD deployed MSUs and established Bayanihan Villages in Cebu and Davao Oriental following the massive earthquake.

PBBM's EXPANDED 4PH BENEFIT NAGUENOS. The 78th anniversary of Naga City's Charter is celebrated extra meaningful on Thursday as the delivered and launched housing projects for the Naguenos under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s flagship Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling, along with Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles Jr., and Mayor Leni Robredo led the Naga City Housing Development Milestone Ceremony, which served as among the highlights of the anniversary celebration.

During the ceremony, the first ever rental housing project in Barangay Lerma realized after 25 years was launched while agreements that will pave the way for socialized housing for government employees under Pag IBIG Fund were signed; awarding of cash assistance to two homeowners associations composed of hundreds of informal settler families (ISFs) accredited by the Social Housing Finance Corporation, and the DHSUD's turn over of Bayanihan Village, composed of modular shelter units (MSUs) in Barangay Pacol that will initially benefit families displaced by a recent fire incident.

Also present were Pag IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta, SHFC President Federico Laxa and other housing officials.

Marcos Jr. following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that shook Mindanao, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development ( ) and its key shelter agencies (KSAs) has mobilized financial and housing assistance for thousands of families affected by the disaster to accelerate recovery through swift government action.

Epektibo sa Hunyo 17, 2026, pinalawig ang deadline ng HOA re-registration hanggang Disyembre 18, 2026.

Iwasan ang pagka-suspinde, pagkawala ng legal na pagkakakilanlan, at pagkawala ng mga benepisyo bilang HOA. Makipag-ugnayan sa pinakamalapit na DHSUD Regional Office o i-scan ang QR code sa pub mat para sa kumpletong detalye.
