A parent will always protect their child. Every child who sits in front of a screen is a curious mind waiting to grow. And behind that curiosity, it is important to ensure that someone is guiding the way.

Introducing MTRCBโ€™s ๐๐‘๐Ž๐“๐„๐‚๐“: a framework created under the agency's Responsableng Panonood campaign. PROTECT aims to empower guardians in safeguarding children from harmful and inappropriate media content.

๐๐‘๐Ž๐“๐„๐‚๐“ is made up of HABITS that guardians can easily incorporate into their lives:

๐ โ€” Provide guidance on age-appropriate content

๐‘ โ€” Regulate screen time by providing resources and support

๐Ž โ€” Observe co-viewing and family discussion

๐“ โ€” Teach media literacy

๐„ โ€” Educate on the impact of media

๐‚ โ€” Create a family media plan

๐“ โ€” Take the lead by modeling responsible behavior

Because responsible viewing isn't just protection โ€” it's love. Together, we can create a safer viewing environment that upholds Filipino values and nurtures the well-being of the next generation.

Join us in empowering everyone to ๐๐‘๐Ž๐“๐„๐‚๐“ what matters most; our children and our future.

Spread the message.
