Kindly be advised that the Scholarship Program is no longer administered by the Awards and Incentives Section. In reference with the Memorandum dated 12 January 2026, the Memorandum issued by the Acting Director for Plans dated 08 January 2026, and the 1st Directorial Staff Meeting conducted in January 2025, the program has been transferred to the Pre-Retirement Section.

Memorandum of Agreement between National University and BFP

Reminder:

Question: How to Avail?

Answer: This can only be availed by the children of those BFP Uniformed Personnel who died or was permanently incapacitated due to the direct performance of their duty pursuant to Sec 8 of RA 6963.

Question: Can the children of the Retired BFP personnel avail this?

Answer: No.

Question: Can the Children of the Retired BFP Personnel who already died avail this?

Answer: No.

Question: What is the application process?

Answer: Download the Scholarship Application Form in our page and comply with the necessary documentary requirements written on the same form and submit it to your respective BFP Regional Office or nearest BFP Fire Station for Endorsement to the BFP Scholarship Program Committee BFP-NHQ for Deliberation.

The Applicant will directly receive a call and text for the update of his application at the same time their respective BFP Regional Office will be informed.
