HONG KONG, SAR CHINA- The National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines executed a bilateral affirmation of cooperation, presented its regulatory framework on data scraping, and shared strategies for protecting childrenโs data at the 65th Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities (APPA) Forum. The forum was held from 16 to 17 June 2026, at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong, SAR China.
Hosted by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD), Hong Kong, SAR China, the two-day event gathered 16 member authorities and more than 100 delegates from around the world to address pressing regulatory concerns, with a particular focus on the legislative, enforcement, and security challenges emerging from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other modern technologies.
