Today, on June 20, 2026, standing firm in its commitment to life-saving volunteerism and community service, the 903rd KPI Signal Battalion actively participated in the "Dugong Alay para sa Bayan 2026" bloodletting event held at the Rizal Hall, Headquarters AFPRESCOM. This noble initiative was spear-headed by our dedicated unit leadership, led by Battalion Commander LTC Harry “Energy” Gemzon PA (RES) alongside MAJ Melvin “Jupiter” Bacani PA (RES). Together with our snappy officers and personnel, the unit proudly stepped forward to donate blood, ensuring a steady supply for those in critical need and directly supporting the health and readiness of our nation.

This active participation stands as a powerful testament to the 903rd KPI Signal Battalion's enduring commitment to national service, camaraderie, and active volunteerism. By answering the call to give the gift of life, our troops demonstrated that heroism isn't just found on the battlefield, but also in the selfless acts that uplift our fellow citizens. As we march forward into more community engagements, we remain steadfast in our sacred motto and core belief that service to humanity is service to God almighty.

AFPRESCOM jointly conducts the Bloodletting Activity

CAMP EMILIO AGUINALDO, Quezon City – AFPRESCOM held a Bloodletting activity with the Theme: "Dugo na Alay, para sa Bayan" in partnership with the Dr. Fe Del Mundo Medical Center at its headquarters on June 20, 2026.

The event was participated in by reservists from affiliated reserve units and the Technical Administrative Service alongside Philippine Air Force reservists and civilian volunteer blood donors.

This is a joint effort with partner stakeholders from various agencies, peoples' organizations, and health establishment. It aims to bolster the relationship between the men-in-uniform and its reliable partners through supporting the community, especially the principal donors and their dependents.

A total of eighty-four (84) qualified blood donors donated, with over 42,000 cubic centimetres (CC) of different blood types collected.

In support of the program, the NCRCOM, AFP, with AFLO-NCR through its Medical Team from the Technical Administrative Service (Res) AFP participated and delivered their free services to the direct beneficiaries through volunteerism and selfless service.

This event aims to bring vital government and non-government organization programs and services directly to NHA project beneficiaries, including adjacent resettlement communities.

This resulted in various services availed by the direct beneficiaries, especially medical services, thereby prevented any recruitment related to unlawful acts.
