This orientation reminds us that reform is not just about changing systems, it is about improving how we teach, how we guide and how we shape the future of every child entrusted to our care.

The Learning Systems Reform Policies are designed to make our curriculum more relevant, flexible and responsive to the changing times and the diverse needs of our learners. It guides us in adopting better teaching strategies, proper assessment methods and inclusive approaches that ensure NO child is left behind. As we return to school this new academic year, we bring with us new knowledge, fresh perspectives and a renewed spirit. We are ready to implement what we have learned, to cascade these reforms to our colleagues and to ensure that the benefits of these policies are felt directly by our students, our parents and our entire school community.

ON ARAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2026

In pursuit of quality education and true inclusivity, Munting Ilog Elementary School, through the leadership of our school principal - Mrs. Teresita C. Amon and our ARAL Program Coordinator - Mrs. Maricris E. Toledo successfully conducted an Orientation for Parents and Guardians regarding the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Summer Program 2026.

This initiative stands as a concrete manifestation of the Department of Education (DepEd) Philippines’ unwavering commitment to strengthen learners’ foundational skills in Literacy, Numeracy, and Critical Thinking. Recognizing that learning is a continuous journey and that every child deserves the chance to excel, the ARAL Program is designed to deliver focused, intensive and meaningful remediation and enhancement sessions that address learning gaps and ensure no learner is left behind.

✅ OBJECTIVES OF THE ORIENTATION:
The gathering aimed to equip our stakeholders with a clear understanding of the program by discussing:
🔹 Rationale: Why Academic Recovery is vital in today’s educational landscape.
🔹 Scope: Target beneficiaries, coverage of learning areas and program duration.
🔹 Roles and Responsibilities: Partnership between teachers, parents and learners for successful implementation.

📌 HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY
Our school principal emphasized that education is a shared responsibility and urged parents to be active partners in their child’s progress. Meanwhile, our ARAL Coordinator thoroughly explained the program mechanics, schedules, and support systems in place to ensure accessible and safe learning environments for all participants. The fruitful exchange of ideas and open discussion reflected the strong unity of our school community in uplifting the quality of education.

Ngayong ika-164 na Araw ng Paggawa, kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) sa pagpupugay sa sipag, dedikasyon, at malasakit ng bawat manggagawang Pilipino na nagsisilbi para sa pag-unlad ng bansa.

Kinikilala rin natin at pinasasalamatan ang mga manggagawa na katuwang ng DepEd sa pagtataguyod ng dekalidad na edukasyon para sa kabataang Pilipino.

🏆 CHAMPIONS IN THE MAKING! 🥋

With immense pride and joy, we are glad to announce the outstanding achievements of our young warriors as they competed and dominated the 2026 MANILA TKD CHAMPS! Held last April 18, 2026 (Saturday) at the Crossroad Convention Center, in supervision with Coach BRENAN SORIANO, our Muntianians TKD team showcased not just their physical strength and skill but also the true spirit of sportsmanship, discipline and perseverance that Taekwondo stands for.

From the moment they stepped onto the mats, our students gave their absolute best. Every kick, every block and every move was executed with precision and heart. They faced tough opponents with courage and represented our institution with heads held high. And their hard work paid off! Our athletes returned home as champions, bringing home an impressive haul of medals and recognition.
