Tacloban City Jail - Female Dormitory

𝐕𝐑𝐎 | The 𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙹𝚊𝚒𝚕 - 𝙵𝚎𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢, under the supervision of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and under the guidance of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲, Acting City Jail Warden, conducted Values Restoration Program for the persons deprived of liberty (PDL) with a theme 𝐍𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒.

𝙅𝙊2 𝘼𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝘼 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙣 emphasized that through helping one another, respecting differences, and following rules together, PDLs can develop positive values that contribute to personal growth and successful reintegration into society.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The 𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙹𝚊𝚒𝚕 - 𝙵𝚎𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢, under the leadership of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and under the direct supervision of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲, Acting City Jail Warden, alongside TCJFD personnel successfully conducted a Coastal Clean-Up Drive Activity along Magsaysay Boulevard, Tacloban City today June 18, 2026.

The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, foster community responsibility, and contribute to the preservation of the city's coastal areas. Through the collective efforts of jail personnel and stakeholders, the clean-up drive reinforced the commitment of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) to environmental stewardship and public service.

This initiative highlights the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment while encouraging active participation in community-based programs that support sustainability and ecological conservation.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The 𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙹𝚊𝚒𝚕 - 𝙵𝚎𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢, under the leadership of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and under the direct supervision of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲, Acting City Jail Warden, actively participated in the 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 (𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗗) 𝗖𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

As part of its commitment to disaster risk reduction and management, TCJFD personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) took part in the drill to strengthen awareness, preparedness, and proper emergency response during seismic events. The activity emphasized the importance of remaining calm, alert, and responsive in times of disaster.

In support of the nationwide initiative, TCJFD personnel also joined the earthquake drill conducted at the Bulwagan ng Katarungan, Tacloban City, demonstrating collective preparedness and cooperation among government agencies.

Through continuous capacity-building activities such as the NSED, the facility ensures that both personnel and PDL are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect lives and minimize risks before, during, and after an earthquake.
