“An ordinance institutionalizing the Barangay Aid to Purok Program to provide financial assistance for the various needs, requirements, and activities of the purok”

Salient features:

TITLE. This ordinance shall be known “Barangay Aid to Purok Program Ordinance of Barangay Magugpo South”.

SCOPE. The provision of this ordinance shall be applicable within the jurisdiction of Barangay Magugpo South.

PURPOSE. The purpose of this ordinance is to help the progress and augment the various needs of the purok and shall apply to all projects, programs, and activities funded by the barangay for the purpose of providing Barangay Aid to Puroks.

GENERAL PROVISION
Financial Assistance- Every purok shall be budgeted a minimum of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php3,500.00) as financial assistance.

Documentary Requirement- The Program or Activity Design of the project shall be submitted two (2) weeks before its use. This document shall specify the list of activities that aims to promote the purok, its culture and its people. The document shall be submitted to the Punong Barangay for its approval.

Manner of Release- The release of the Barangay Aid shall be done provided that documentary requirements are complied with.

Accomplishment Report- The purok shall submit the accomplishment or liquidation report to the Punong Barangay within 30 days upon release.
