SUSTAINING PEACE THROUGH UNITY | Davao de Oro celebrates its 4th anniversary as an Insurgency-Free Province, June 22, 2026 at the Capitol Lobby, from its historic declaration in 2022, the province has proven that true security is built on vigilant governance, community empathy, and strong institutional collaboration.

The event marked four consecutive years of the province maintaining its "insurgency-free" status, showcasing long-term security gains and effective local peace initiatives.

During the event, a ceremonial turnover was conducted providing Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) cash assistance and livelihood support to 45 former rebels (referred to as former members of communist terrorist groups).

The Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) is a whole-of-government response to the Middle East crisis created by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. under Executive Order No. 110.

Support and recovery efforts remain ongoing for families and communities impacted by the earthquake in Mindanao

Government agencies continue to extend assistance through relief operations, financial aid, healthcare support, shelter assistance, and the restoration of vital services to help affected areas move forward and rebuild.

🔔 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: Region XI stands ready and resilient!

Earlier today, June 18, the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) XI spearheaded the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), with the main regional simulation taking center stage in Mabini, Davao de Oro.

From the ceremonial button pressing to the actual tactical ex*****on, the localized drill tested the community's evacuation protocols, communication networks, and the seamless coordination of local emergency responders during a major earthquake scenario.

Disaster preparedness is not a drill we just check off a list—it is a continuous lifeline. By testing our systems today, we secure our safety for tomorrow.
