“UNITY ON AND OFF THE FIELD”

The spirit of camaraderie and physical wellness was evident as personnel of the 16th Installation Management Battalion (IMB) gathered for a friendly soccer match, showcasing unity and teamwork beyond their day-to-day responsibilities. The activity brought together officers and enlisted personnel in an environment that promoted sportsmanship, discipline, and esprit de corps.

Demonstrating leadership by example, Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Alfredo San Agustin Jr joined his troops on the field, actively participating in the game. His involvement highlighted the command’s commitment to fostering morale, physical fitness, and strong professional relationships within the battalion. On the pitch, ranks were set aside as players coordinated passes, defended goals, and celebrated well-executed plays together.

The match not only displayed athletic skill and determination but also reinforced the trust and cooperation essential to mission readiness, coordinated planning, and strategy build up. Encouragement from teammates and the shared enthusiasm of the event strengthened bonds among personnel, making the activity both meaningful and enjoyable.

Through initiatives such as this, the 16th Installation Management Battalion continues to nurture unity, resilience, and well-being among its members. The soccer game served as a reminder that shared experiences build the cohesion that supports effective service and leadership “Sweat Drops while creating strategies.”
