Rehabilitation of Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto Flyover, Hyderabad – Development Scheme

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Mr. Zain-ul-Abedin Memon, the Assistant Commissioner City Hyderabad, Mr. Syed Noor Hussain, visited the development scheme for the rehabilitation of Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto Flyover at Hala Naka, Hyderabad.

During the visit, the progress of the ongoing rehabilitation work was reviewed in detail. The Assistant Commissioner inspected various components of the project and received a briefing from the concerned officials regarding the pace of work and implementation of the development scheme.

The Assistant Commissioner emphasized the importance of completing the project within the stipulated timeframe while ensuring quality standards. He directed the concerned authorities to maintain the momentum of work and address any issues promptly to facilitate the timely completion of the project for the benefit of the public.

Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zain-ul-Abedin Memon and Assistant Commissioner City Syed Noor Hussain, the Mukhtiarkar City Altaf Korejo conducted price checking of grocery shops, vegetable vendors, and dairy shops in different areas of City Taluka Hyderabad.

During the inspection, several shopkeepers were found violating government-notified rates. Fines were imposed on violators, while strict instructions were issued to ensure implementation of officially notified prices and display of rate lists at shops.

The district administration reiterated its commitment to protecting consumers from overcharging and ensuring availability of essential commodities at government-fixed rates.

Under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zain-ul-Abedin Memon and Assistant Commissioner Taluka City Syed Noor Hussain, Mukhtiarkar City Altaf Korejo conducted price checking activities at Market Tower and Hirabad areas of Hyderabad. During the inspection, several shopkeepers were found violating government-notified rates, upon which fines were imposed to ensure implementation of official prices and provide relief to the public.

Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad / District Returning Officer Zain-ul-Abedin Memon along with Assistant Commissioner Taluka City / Returning Officer Syed Noor Hussain visited various polling stations established for the conduct of Local Government Elections on vacant seats in Hyderabad District.

During the visit, the officers thoroughly reviewed the overall polling arrangements, security measures, and the availability of polling staff to ensure smooth, transparent, and peaceful conduct of the electoral process.

The District Returning Officer directed the concerned officials and polling staff to perform their duties with impartiality, responsibility, and in accordance with election rules and regulations. He further emphasized maintaining law and order and providing maximum facilitation to voters at polling stations.

Security personnel deployed at polling stations were also instructed to remain vigilant and ensure a peaceful environment throughout the polling process.

Visit of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Flyover Works

The Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Mr. Zain-ul-Abedin Memon, along with the Assistant Commissioner Taluka City, Syed Noor Hussain, conducted a thorough visit of the ongoing works of the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Flyover.

During the visit, the officers reviewed the progress on site and inspected the remaining bottlenecks affecting the project ex*****on. It was noted that issues related to the removal of redundant pump houses, shifting of utility lines, and relocation of poles have now been resolved.

The administration emphasized the importance of timely completion of the project to ensure smooth traffic flow and public convenience.

Fine and Sealing of Petrol Pump in Hyderabad City

The Assistant Commissioner City Hyderabad, Syed Noor Hussain, inspected the petrol pump Total Petrol Pump Hyderabad City.

During the inspection, the quantity of fuel being dispensed was checked and found to be significantly lower than the standard. On violation of prescribed regulations, the petrol pump was fined and sealed.

Total Fine Imposed: Rs. 100,000

The administration reiterated that strict monitoring of fuel stations will continue to ensure fair practices and consumer protection.

Anti-Encroachment Drive at Tando Agha

The Mukhtiarkar Taluka City, Mr. Altaf Korejo, conducted an anti-encroachment drive at Tando Agha to remove illegal structures and ensure the clearance of public spaces.

During the operation, encroachments obstructing public pathways and right of way were targeted, and necessary action was taken in accordance with relevant regulations. The drive aimed to restore public access and improve traffic flow in the area.

The administration reiterated its commitment to continue such operations across the taluka to eliminate encroachments and maintain orderly urban management.

Sealing of “My Petroleum Petrol Pump” Hyderabad City

On the directives of the district administration, Assistant Commissioner City Hyderabad Syed Noor Hussain conducted an inspection of “My Petroleum Petrol Pump” in Hyderabad City. During the inspection, the quantity of fuel being dispensed was checked and found to be significantly lower than the prescribed standard.

The petrol pump was also found violating Government notified fuel rates. In view of the violations, the petrol pump was fined and sealed by the Assistant Commissioner City Hyderabad to ensure strict compliance with official regulations and protection of consumer rights.
