Visit to the historic Peshawar Museum

From the historic halls of Peshawar Museum to the remarkable legacy of the Gandhara civilization, an outstanding effort to preserve and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The visit also highlights growing academic collaboration, as recent discoveries from the Buddhist Monastic Complex of Abba Sahib Cheena (Swat) have been accepted for oral presentation at the 27th EASAA Conference in Ghent (6–10 July 2026).

A meaningful step in strengthening cultural and scholary ties between Belgium and Pakistan. Best wishes to Dr. Saqib Raza, Curator of Peshawar Museum, for his upcoming lecture at the University of Ghent.

A sincere thank you to Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan Dan Stoenescu for making this memorable visit possible, and to Romanian Honorary Consul and CEO of Peshawar barracks Masood Ahmad Qazi for the exceptional hospitality. Creating safer workplaces starts with awareness.

Team Belgium participated in an Anti-Harassment Training Session led by Lodhi Law Firm, focusing on Pakistan’s anti-harassment laws and practical ways to recognize and address workplace harassment through interactive exercises.

Respect, dignity, and inclusion are essential to every professional environment — and through continued awareness, we can all help build workplaces where everyone feels safe and valued.
