Event Recap | Session Held Yesterday
"Why Small Conversations Turn into Big Conflicts"
Peace Club conducted an insightful online session that explored the deeper dynamics of everyday communication, where participants reflected on how simple interactions can sometimes lead to misunderstanding, tension, and conflict.
Pause before responding. Thoughtful communication creates better outcomes
The session was led by "Dr. Naila Rafique", from the International Islamic University Islamabad, a broadcaster, storyteller, and media literacy trainer. Her expert perspective bridged theory with real-life communication challenges in today’s digital world.
Key Insights from the Session
Instant responses often replace thoughtful reflection, leading to reactive communication
Misinterpretation of tone, intent, and context can quickly escalate situations
Emotional awareness is essential to prevent small issues from becoming major conflicts
Active listening plays a vital role in building mutual understanding and clarity
Empathy transforms communication from conflict to connection and collaboration
Key Learnings for Participants
Pause before responding.
Thoughtful communication creates better outcomes
Focus on understanding, not just replying
Communicate with clarity, intention, and emotional intelligence
Build stronger relationships through conscious and respectful dialogue
We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Naila Rafique and all participants for contributing to a highly engaging and reflective session.
Let’s move forward with a simple yet powerful goal:
Communicate not just quickly, but consciously, clearly, and compassionately.

What if the real reward we’re chasing… is peace itself?
In a world driven by outcomes and recognition, we often forget that peace doesn’t need validation. It is not a step toward something else; it is the destination. When individuals and communities choose harmony, respect, and understanding, the reward is already present in that choice.
Social and cultural peace grows when we value calm over conflict and connection over division.
At Peace Magazine, we believe peace is not just a goal; it is a way of living, “The Literary Resistance to Violence for peaceful Pakistan.”

What Happens When You Change How You Communicate?
In cities like Islamabad & Rawalpindi, we interact with people all day…
Colleagues, clients, teams, students.
But here’s something most people don’t realize:
👉 It’s not the situation that creates conflict… it’s how we respond to it.
One conversation can build trust.
Another can silently damage relationships.
So the question is…
Are you communicating to react, or to truly connect?
🧠✨ Tomorrow, You Get the Answer
This Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Leadership Training is not just a session,
It’s a shift in mindset that helps you:
