TransKarachi is a public sector company established to carry out the project implementation, management, and maintenance of the Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Red Line. The project is sponsored by the Government of Sindh, with financial assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and co-financiers, including the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the French Agency for Development (AFD), and the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

وزیراعلیٰ سندھ سید مراد علی شاہ کا صبح 6 بجے میئر کراچی مرتضیٰ وہاب کے ہمراہ یونیورسٹی روڈ کا دورہ۔
وزیراعلیٰ سندھ نے یونیورسٹی روڈ پر بی آر ٹی منصوبے اور دیگر جاری ترقیاتی کاموں کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا،
ایف ڈبلیو او حکام نے منصوبے کی رفتار، معیار اور تکمیل کے حوالے سے بریفنگ دی۔
اس موقع پر کمشنر کراچی سید حسن نقوی، ایم ڈی واٹر بورڈ سمیت دیگر اعلیٰ افسران بھی وزیراعلیٰ سندھ کے ہمراہ موجود تھے۔
وزیراعلیٰ سندھ نے کہا کہ کراچی کے اہم شاہراہوں کی بحالی حکومت کی ترجیحات میں شامل ہے
شہر کے انفراسٹرکچر کو جدید تقاضوں سے ہم آہنگ کیا جا رہا ہے

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon visited the KBRT Red Line Corridor along with senior officials Secretary Transport and Mass Transit Dept Mr Assad Zamin and CEO TransKarachi Mr Fuad Ghaffar Soomro and said that expedite the work of KBRT Redline.
TransKarachi team remains committed and dedicated in finishing the project, construction progress is being done day and night.
