The Inaugural Ceremony of the Expanded Unit of the Psychological Clinic of Prof. Dr. Farrukh Zahur Ahmad Trust of Clinical Psychology was held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:30 PM.

The expansion of the Psychological Clinics marks an important step toward providing comprehensive mental health services to the wider community including Psychological Assessment, Psychotherapeutic services, Behavioral Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychiatric OPD, Mental Health Awareness Programs.

The ceremony was attended by the Board of Trustees and Advisory Board Members of Prof. FZA Trust, Consultants of the Trust’s Psychological Clinics, and distinguished Mental Health Professionals.

On this occasion, the Board of Trustees of Prof. FZA Trust conferred LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMNT AWARDS upon two eminent and renowned personalities in recognition of their exceptional services to mental health:

* Meritorious and Distinguished National Professor, Dr. Iqbal Afridi is awarded Life Time Achievement Award for his invaluable services and remarkable contribution in the field of Psychiatry and Mental Health.

* Prof. Dr. Tahir Khalily is awarded Life Time Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions and invaluable services in the field of Clinical Psychology.

The awards are presented by Prof. Dr. Farrukh Zahur Ahmad and Senator Dr. Karim Ahmad Khawaja.

The ceremony concluded with Prof. Dr. Farrukh Zahur Ahmad, President of FZA Trust along with Prof. Dr. Sobia Aftab, Vice President and Managing Director, expressing their sincere gratitude to all attendees for being part of this important milestone. They also acknowledged with deep appreciation the continued support and encouragement of well-wishers throughout this journey.
