Awareness Walk Against Drug Abuse
In observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking 2026, the Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH), in collaboration with Regional Directorate ANF Punjab and the VIS Department, University of Central Punjab (UCP), organized an Awareness Walk Against Drug Abuse to promote a healthy, drug-free society.
Students, faculty members, representatives of partner organizations, and community stakeholders participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their commitment to raising awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of prevention.
The walk was led by Brigadier Sikandar Hayat Chaudhry, Commander ANF Punjab, Chief Guest, along with Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, and Muhammad Hammad ur Rehman, Head of VIS Department, UCP.
Participants carried awareness messages and pledged to work collectively towards protecting youth, strengthening communities, and promoting positive lifestyles free from drugs and substance abuse.
Together, every step brings us closer to a healthier and drug-free Pakistan.

International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking 2026 – Awareness & Advocacy Session
As part of the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking 2026, the Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH), in collaboration with Regional Directorate ANF Punjab and the VIS Department, University of Central Punjab (UCP), organized a special Awareness & Advocacy Session bringing together students, professionals, academia, and stakeholders to discuss the challenges of drug abuse and the importance of prevention.
The session was graced by Brigadier Sikandar Hayat Chaudhry, Commander ANF Punjab, as the Chief Guest, who emphasized the collective responsibility of society in protecting youth from the dangers of drugs.
Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, highlighted the importance of prevention, awareness, and community engagement in building a drug-free society and strengthening the role of educational institutions in this mission.

Award Distribution Ceremony – International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking 2026
The Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) proudly organized an Award Distribution Ceremony to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals, organizations, educational institutions, and youth leaders working towards drug prevention, awareness, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
The ceremony was graced by Brigadier Sikandar Hayat Chaudhry, Commander ANF Punjab, as the Chief Guest, who appreciated the collective efforts being made to combat drug abuse and strengthen community awareness.
Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, highlighted the importance of collective action, youth engagement, and community participation in addressing the challenges of drug abuse and promoting a healthy, productive society.

Painting Competition on Drug Abuse & Sports Doping
In connection with the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking 2026, the Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH), in collaboration with Regional Directorate ANF Punjab and the VIS Department, University of Central Punjab (UCP), successfully organized a Painting Competition on the theme "Drug Abuse & Sports Doping."
The ceremony was graced by Brigadier Sikandar Hayat Chaudhry, Commander ANF Punjab, as the Chief Guest. Col Shoukat Joint Director ANF RD Punjab, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drugs/Narcotics Campaign were special guests.
More than 100 students enthusiastically participated, expressing their creativity and commitment to promoting a healthy, drug-free society through art. Cash prizes were awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position holders in recognition of their outstanding artwork.

Drug Use Prevention in the Workplace – A Initiative by DATH
Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH), a project of Youth Council for Anti Narcotics (YOCFAN), in collaboration with Four Points by Sheraton Lahore, organized an session to address the growing challenges of substance use in professional environments and to promote healthy, safe, and productive workplaces. The initiative brought together professionals, management representatives, and stakeholders committed to workplace well-being and employee welfare.
Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant – Anti-Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, served as the guest speaker. Other distinguished participants included Amir Khawaja (General Manager), Muhammad Idrees (Assistant Manager HR), Syed Mohsin Shah (Vice Chairman, DATH), Adeel Rashid (Secretary, DATH), along with other guests and professionals.
During the address, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain emphasized that workplaces are vital social and professional environments where individuals spend a significant portion of their daily lives. He highlighted that the use of drugs and other psychoactive substances can adversely impact employees’ health, workplace discipline, productivity, safety, and overall organizational performance.
He further shared that DATH’s new intervention will focus on evidence-based prevention strategies, awareness sessions, counseling support, staff capacity-building, and workplace engagement programs aimed at reducing risk factors and fostering a culture of health, responsibility, and drug-free living.
DATH remains committed to working with corporate organizations, educational institutions, government departments, and community partners to create safer and healthier environments for all.
