Once again, six (06) students of the historic and celebrated Department of Pakistan Studies have been selected as Lecturers in Pakistan Studies in the Higher Education Department (General Colleges) through the KPPSC. The Computing Society of Government Postgraduate College successfully organized an Inter-College Competition featuring a variety of academic, technical, and co-curricular activities including Typing Competition, Sketching Competition, Chess, AI Image Generation, Coding Competition, and Quiz Competition. The event provided a healthy platform for students to demonstrate their talent, creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills.

The worthy Principal appreciated the remarkable efforts of the Computing Society for arranging such a productive and engaging event.
The success of the event was made possible through the dedication of the organizing team, the active participation of students, and the continuous support and guidance of respected teachers.

We proudly announce that four students from the Department of Pakistan Studies — Mr. Azhar Saeed, Mr. Ameer Sheryar, Mr. Muhammad Zehsan, and Mr. Muhammad Tufail — have been recommended by the Public Service Commission for the posts of Lecturers in Pakistan Studies at Commerce Colleges.

Out of a total of 07 seats, our talented students secured 04 positions — a remarkable achievement that reflects the academic excellence and dedication of both the students and faculty of the department.

Heartiest congratulations to the successful candidates, their teachers, and the esteemed Department of Pakistan Studies on this outstanding success. We wish them continued excellence in their professional careers.

Heartiest congratulations to Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Bali, Professor of Pakistan Studies and former Principal, on becoming the first in-service faculty member to be promoted to BPS-21 Senior Professor. This landmark achievement brings immense pride to the Department and the college, and is a great honour for Mansehra.
