وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب محترمہ مریم نواز شریف کے خصوصی پروگرام کے تحت ساہیوال ٹیچنگ ہسپتال میں میت منتقلی سروس کی افتتاحی تقریب مورخہ 23-06-2026 کو منعقد ہوئی۔

اس سروس کا مقصد غم کی گھڑی میں لواحقین کو باوقار، محفوظ اور بروقت میت منتقلی کی سہولت فراہم کرنا ہے۔

افتتاحی تقریب میں ڈپٹی کمشنر ساہیوال کیپٹن ریٹائرڈ سمیع اللّٰہ فاروق،پرنسپل ساہیوال میڈیکل کالج و ساہیوال ٹیچنگ ہسپتال پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اختر ملک، ڈاکٹر فیصل وحید اور دیگر معزز شخصیات نے شرکت کی۔

🏥 **Official Visit – Sahiwal Teaching Hospital, Sahiwal** 🏥

The Principal of Sahiwal Medical College Sahiwal, **Prof. Dr. M. Akhtar Malik**, along with AMS (STH), visited **Sahiwal Teaching Hospital** on **15-06-2026**.

During the visit, he inspected various departments including:
• Medical OPD
• Main Emergency
• General Ward
• Gastroenterology Ward

He reviewed patient care services, clinical facilities, and the overall performance of the hospital. The visit emphasized improving healthcare delivery, strengthening medical education, and ensuring high-quality patient management.

The hospital administration briefed him regarding ongoing services and future improvement plans.

Together, we remain committed to excellence in healthcare and medical education.

🦟 **Dengue Awareness Walk** 🦟

Sahiwal Teaching Hospital, Sahiwal organized a Dengue Awareness Walk on **15-06-2026** to promote public awareness regarding dengue prevention and control.

Doctors, nurses, students, and healthcare staff actively participated in the walk, emphasizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness, eliminating stagnant water, and adopting preventive measures to protect our communities from dengue fever.

Together, we can create a healthier and dengue-free Pakistan.

With deep grief and sorrow, we mourn the sad demise of Malik Nadeem Kamran, Late Ex-Minister for Ushr & Zakat and Member of the Provincial Assembly, who passed away on 15-05-2026.

Being the founder of Sahiwal Medical College, Sahiwal, his services and contributions towards medical education and public welfare will always be remembered with great respect and honor.

A special Dua and Fateha for the departed soul was offered on 06-06-2026 at 11:00 AM in Tariq Hall. All the clinical and basic faculty members of STH/SLMC/SWL, along with MBBS students, attended the prayer gathering and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

May Allah Almighty grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience and strength to the bereaved family. Ameen
