📌 Paunawa (OWWA e-Card): Hindi muna available ang printing ng physical card, ngunit bukas pa rin ang registration para sa OWWA e-Card.

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah successfully conducted its Consular Mobile Services in Tabuk on 19–20 June 2026 at Mena Hotel, bringing essential government services closer to the Filipino community in the area.

During the two-day activity, the Consulate provided a range of services to members of the Filipino community, including passport processing, civil registration, notarials, and Assistance-to-Nationals concerns, alongside services from partner agencies such as MWO/OWWA and SSS.

The Consulate extends its sincere appreciation to all kababayans who availed of the services and to everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.

𝗔 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗣 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗮

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah hosted a dinner gathering for University of the Philippines alumni in Saudi Arabia, bringing together members of the UP community for an evening of fellowship, networking, and meaningful exchanges.

The initiative, spearheaded by Consul General Rommel Romato, himself a UP alumnus, culminated in the election of interim officers tasked with leading the establishment of an accredited UP Alumni Association KSA Chapter. The newly organized chapter aims to strengthen ties among UP graduates across the Kingdom, foster greater engagement within the Filipino community, and advance the University’s mission of service, leadership, and excellence beyond Philippine shores.

The UP Alumni Association KSA Chapter is envisioned to further the mission of the University of the Philippines beyond the country’s borders by promoting excellence, service, and leadership among its members. It also seeks to undertake programs and activities that will uplift the image of the Filipino, contribute to community development, and showcase the talents, achievements, and positive contributions of Filipinos in Saudi Arabia.

Consul General Rommel Romato signed the Book of Condolence for Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati on 18 June 2026, conveying the deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah to the Royal Family and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand.

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah stands in solidarity with the Kingdom of Thailand during this time of mourning.

Consul General Rommel Romato welcomed representatives of Abeer Medical Group, led by Vice President for Strategic Planning Dr. Jemsh*th Ahmed, during a courtesy call at the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah on 17 June 2026.

The delegation extended their greetings on the occasion of the 128th Philippine Independence Day and presented a plaque honoring the enduring spirit of the Filipino nation.

During the meeting, both sides discussed potential areas of collaboration, including wellness programs for Consulate personnel and health-awareness initiatives for Overseas Filipinos in the Western Region.

Consul General Romato expressed appreciation for Abeer Medical Group’s continued support for the health and welfare of the Filipino community in the Kingdom.
