เมื่อวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน 2569 นายพงศ์ปราชญ์ มากแจ้ง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงริยาด พร้อมด้วยนางเฟม พุทธาวัฒน์ ที่ปรึกษา ได้เข้าพบ H.E. Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi ผู้ว่าการองค์การมาตรฐาน มาตรวิทยา และคุณภาพแห่งซาอุดีอาระเบีย (Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization: SASO) ณ สำนักงานใหญ่ของ SASO โดยมีคณะผู้บริหารระดับสูงของ SASO เข้าร่วมด้วย
ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แสดงความยินดีกับพัฒนาการความสัมพันธ์ด้านเศรษฐกิจไทย-ซาอุดีฯ ในรอบปีที่ผ่านมา รวมถึงความร่วมมือที่ใกล้ชิดในด้านการส่งเสริมมาตรฐานสินค้าอุตสาหกรรมและสินค้าฮาลาล ระหว่าง SASO กับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของไทย
ในการนี้ ฝ่ายไทยยังได้แสดงความขอบคุณ SASO ที่ได้จัดการกิจกรรมเพื่อให้ข้อมูลแก่ผู้ประกอบการไทยเกี่ยวกับมาตรฐานและกฏระเบียบที่จำเป็นในการส่งออกสินค้ามายังตลาดซาอุดีฯ อย่างต่อเนื่องด้วย พร้อมกันนี้ ยังได้ติดตามความคืบหน้าการเจรจาจัดทำบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MoU) ระหว่างสำนักงานมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม (สมอ.) ของไทยกับ SASO ซึ่งจะเป็นกรอบความร่วมมือด้านมาตรฐาน มาตรวิทยา การตรวจรับรอง และการพัฒนาคุณภาพอุตสาหกรรมระหว่างสองประเทศ เพื่อให้สามารถลงนามร่วมกันได้ในโอกาสแรก

On 25 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of Thailand to Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Mrs. Fame Buddhavadhana, Counsellor, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi, Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), at SASO Headquarters. The meeting was also attended by SASO's senior executives.

During the meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction on the positive developments in Thai-Saudi economic relations over the past year, as well as the close cooperation in promoting industrial and halal product standards between SASO and relevant Thai agencies.

On this occasion, the Thai side expressed its appreciation to SASO for consistently organising activities to provide Thai entrepreneurs with essential information regarding the standards, rules, and regulations required for exporting goods to the Saudi market. Furthermore, the Thai side also followed up on the progress of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) and SASO, which will serve as a framework for cooperation in standardisation, metrology, conformity assessment, and industrial quality development between the two countries, with the hope of finalising and signing the MoU at the earliest opportunity.

ประกาศสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงริยาด เรื่องวันหยุดราชการในเดือนกรกฎาคม 2569

เมื่อวันที่ 24 มิถุนายน 2569 นายพงศ์ปราชญ์ มากแจ้ง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงริยาด เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวันแก่ H.E. Mr. Hoang Huu Anh เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมเวียดนาม และ H.E. Mr. Nay Myo Oo เอกอัครราชทูตแห่งสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา พร้อมด้วยนักการทูตจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย เวียดนาม และเมียนมา เพื่อเป็นการกระชับความสัมพันธ์และเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน

On June 24, 2026, Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hosted a luncheon for H.E. Mr. Hoang Huu Anh, the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , and H.E. Mr. Nay Myo Oo, the Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with the diplomats of all three Embassies in order to foster relations and networking among ASEAN diplomats in Saudi Arabia.

เมื่อวันที่ 23 มิถุนายน 2569 นายพงศ์ปราชญ์ มากแจ้ง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงริยาด เป็นประธานการประชุมทีมประเทศไทยประจำซาอุดีอาระเบีย ครั้งที่ 2/2569 โดยมีหัวหน้า/ผู้แทนส่วนราชการที่เกี่ยวข้อง เข้าร่วม ได้แก่ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจดดาห์ สำนักงานแรงงาน สำนักงาน เศรษฐกิจการลงทุน สำนักงาน ททท. และสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าต่างประเทศ โดยที่ประชุมฯ ได้ร่วมกันประเมินพัฒนาการของสถานการณ์ทางการเมืองในภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลาง ตลอดจนสถานะความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและซาอุดีอาระเบียในด้านต่าง ๆ อาทิ การเมือง แรงงาน การลงทุน การค้า ฯลฯ พร้อมทั้งพิจารณาการบูรณาการแผนโครงการ/กิจกรรมของทีมประเทศไทยในช่วงไตรมาสที่ 3 และ 4 ของปี 2569 เพื่อให้การขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์ของไทยต่อซาอุดีอาระเบียเป็นไปอย่างมีเอกภาพและประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด

เมื่อวันที่ 21 มิถุนายน 2569 สอท. ณ กรุงริยาดเข้าร่วมออกบูธแนะนำประเทศไทยในงาน World Heritage Day ณ Cultural Palace ย่าน Diplomatic Quarter กรุงริยาด ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดย Intangible Heritage Commission ภายใต้กระทรวงวัฒนธรรมซาอุดีอาระเบีย โดยภายในบูธของสถานทูตฯ นอกจากการจัดแสดงศิลปวัตถุที่สื่อประเพณีวัฒนธรรมอันสวยงามไทยแล้ว ยังมีการสาธิตการนวดไทยจาก Harn Spa Intercontinental Durrat Hotel และการนำเสนอเมนูอาหารไทย ได้แก่ ลาบไก่ทอด ตะโก้ และน้ำอัญชันมะนาว ให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ชิมด้วย

On 21 June 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh, participated in the World Heritage Day event. Organized by the Intangible Heritage Commission under the Ministry of Culture of Saudi Arabia, the event was held at the Cultural Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh. The Thai Embassy's booth featured various cultural activities, including a Thai massage demonstration courtesy of Harnn Wellness & Spa from the InterContinental Durrat Al Riyadh Resort as well as Thai food tastings, .

เมื่อวันที่ 18 มิถุนายน 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงริยาด จัดพิธีถวายความอาลัยแด่สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา นเรนทิราเทพยวดี กรมหลวงราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยมีนายพงศ์ปราชญ์ มากแจ้ง เอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยหัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ข้าราชการทีมประเทศไทย คู่สมรส และเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเข้าร่วมโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวน้อมรำลึกในพระกรุณาธิคุณ พร้อมทั้งนำผู้เข้าร่วมพิธีลงนามในสมุดถวายความอาลัยและตามด้วยพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลสัตตมวาร (7 วัน) เพื่ออุทิศถวายพระกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา นเรนทิราเทพยวดี กรมหลวงราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา

เมื่อวันที่ 16 มิถุนายน 2569 นายนที วิชิตสรสาตร อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงริยาด พร้อมด้วย นายพิชาน แจ่มเวหา เลขานุการเอก ได้เข้าพบหารือกับ Dr. Yazeed Al-Humaidan CEO ของ King Fahad National Library (KFNL) ซึ่งเป็นหอสมุดแห่งชาติของซาอุดีอาระเบีย เพื่อแสวงหาแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างหอสมุดแห่งชาติของ ทั้งสองประเทศ และรวมถึงความเป็นไปที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ จะมอบหนังสือเกี่ยวกับประเทศไทยให้แก่ KFNL เพื่อเป็นการประชาสัมพันธ์ประเทศไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักและเพื่อส่งเสริมความเข้าใจอันดีในระดับประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศ

On June 16, 2026, Mr. Natee Vichitsorasatra, Minister Counselor, Royal Thai Embassy, Riyadh, accompanied by Mr. Pichan Jamveha, First Secretary, met with Dr. Yazeed Al-Humaidan, Chief Executive Officer of King Fahd National Library (KFNL), the national library of Saudi Arabia. They exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the National Library of Thailand and the KFNL as well as the possibility of contributing books about Thailand to KFNL in order to promote better understanding between people of both countries.

เมื่อวันที่ 14 มิถุนายน 2569 นายพงศ์ปราชญ์ มากแจ้ง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงริยาด พร้อมด้วยนายนที วิชิตสรสาตร อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา และนายพิชาน แจ่มเวหา เลขานุการเอก เข้าเฝ้าเจ้าชาย Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud ผู้ว่าราชการมณฑลริยาด ในโอกาสที่เอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้ารับหน้าที่ ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กราบทูลในนามของชุมชนไทยที่พำนักในมณฑลริยาด แสดงความขอบคุณผู้ว่าราชการฯ และทางการมณฑลริยาด ที่ได้ให้การดูแลแก่ชุมชนไทย และสนับสนุนงานของสถานเอกอัครรราชทูตฯ เป็นอย่างดียิ่งเสมอมา

On 14 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Mr. Natee Vichitsorasatra, Minister Counsellor, and Mr. Pichan Jamveha, First Secretary, paid a courtesy call on Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh, on the occasion of the Ambassador's assumption of duty. In this connection, the Ambassador, on behalf the Thai community in Riyadh, express his gratitude to the Governor and the Government of Riyadh for their continuing support given to Thai community and the Embassy.

เมื่อวันที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2569 นายพงศ์ปราชญ์ มากแจ้ง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงริยาด พร้อมด้วยนางเฟม พุทธาวัฒน์ ที่ปรึกษา ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ (ผ่านระบบออนไลน์) H.E. Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ซาอุดีอาระเบีย โดยมีผู้บริหารระดับสูงขององค์การการค้าต่างประเทศแห่งซาอุดีอาระเบีย (GAFT) เข้าร่วมด้วย

ในการนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีต่อการเติบโตของมูลค่าการค้าระหว่างสองประเทศ ซึ่งมีมูลค่ารวมกว่า 7.8 พันล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ และเห็นพ้องที่จะเพิ่มความหลากหลายในรายการสินค้าที่ส่งออก-นำเข้าระหว่างกัน ตลอดจนผลักดันความร่วมมือในสาขาที่มีศักยภาพ อาทิ เกษตรและอาหารการท่องเที่ยว พลังงาน และการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ รวมถึงการสนับสนุนบทบาทของภาคเอกชนในการขับเคลื่อนความสัมพันธ์ไทย–ซาอุดีอาระเบียให้มีพลวัตอย่างต่อเนื่อง

On 15 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Mrs. Fame Buddhavadhana, Counsellor, paid a virtual courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Senior executives from the General Authority for Foreign Trade (GAFT) also attended the meeting.

During the discussion, both sides welcomed the continued growth in bilateral trade, which has now exceeded USD 7.8 billion, and agreed on the importance of diversifying the range of products traded between the two countries. They also exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in high-potential sectors, including agriculture and food, tourism, energy, and human resource development, as well as supporting greater private-sector engagement in driving the Thailand–Saudi Arabia partnership forward in a dynamic and sustainable manner.
